A solid Greek restaurant, located right at the beginning of Kamp-Lintfort's shopping mile.
Upon my brother's recommendation, we came here with a group of 6 for a Saturday lunch. We were seated right away and drink orders were taken quickly.
Since I had been looking forward to gyros all week, I ordered the standard staple: gyro with tzatziki and fries. My friend B. asked for the same while the rest of our dining companions ordered the "Brokkoli-Pfännchen"(a daily special made with broccoli and gyros, baked with cheese), chicken nuggets and fries (the perfect kids meal for our son!), a meat platter with cheese and some kind of meat loaf dish (sorry I forgot the name :/).
All of us received a small salad and a shot of ouzo as a starter.
Then the mains came out and everybody loved it.
The gyros was delectable, the fries cross and spot-on and the tzatziki was perfect.
Everybody else liked their food as well.
Prices were OK - I'd say they were fair, but no bargain.
Service was alright. We got what we wanted, but they didn't go out on a limb to please us.
All in all a solid 4 star experience.
I'd definitely come back. read more
