I called ahead and was told there was a 15-minute grace period. I walked in at 11:16 AM, and Dr. Parikh flat-out refused to see me, providing zero explanation or flexibility for being one minute late. As a first-time expectant mom, these appointments mean the world to me. To be turned away after an hour of stressful driving was heartbreaking, but the attitude of the staff made it worse. The receptionists were completely unsympathetic and acted like I was a bother. A little kindness or a simple smile would have gone a long way, especially since turning me away means waiting another three weeks for an appointment. I ultimately decided not to reschedule. This experience completely ruined my trust in this practice, and I will not be returning.

While I received PT services from about all of the physical therapists (Jessica and Mercedes), Brittany really was instrumental in taking the time to learn what verbal cues were key during in my recovery and PT sessions, and how quickly improvement came about with my gait. Every single person in that office was nothing less than wonderful in working with me, even though my schedule would've been maddening to me with how many times I had to switch things around. Not only did I get much much better - but working with people who cared about their jobs and patients made it so much more encouraging. This is a special group. A++

At first, one of the justifications for the fee was "hazardous removal service," but that explanation later disappeared from their list of reasons. Even when my children were too young for school forms, they still wanted to charge me. If I were to attend today, that same fee would cost me $295. Beyond the excessive fees, I never felt that any doctor truly cared about my children. It often seemed like they were treated as just another number. To be fair, I left this practice over seven years ago, so perhaps things have changed. But based on my experience, I'm glad I decided to move on.

The environment is remarkably cheerful and the entire office works as a team! The minute I am done with one exercise I am quickly directed to the next exercise. Every session has included heat, stimulation, ultrasound, and always ends with ice. The team works closely with the licensed therapists to tailor treatment plans to the individual's needs. Nobody has told me this, but their goal is clear - do a little bit better than the last visit but never push to a point where an injury can occur. He's an ok doctor, if you're not a black person. A few times he's ignored the symptoms of why I've…read moregone to see him. I had a weird skin grown on my hand and his recommendation was to use more lotion. WTF?! I need medication for ADHD. none of the other formulations have worked for me in the past, so for a whole I gave up. I recently went back and requested the same exact medication that my kids use. It works well for them. He wanted to start me off at a very low dose. I informed him that dosage was even lower than what my daughter uses, and she weighs less than a third of what I weigh. I may not be a doctor, but I do know simple, chemistry, body weight matters in regards to chemicals and medication. He refused and started me at 15 mg. My very small daughter takes 20. I don't blame him for this next part. The insurance company refused to pay for it without prior authorization, despite them having been paying for this stud for my kids for the last few years. But I do blame him for not wanting to do the prior authorization. It's a simply bloody fax. When I went back this week for my 30 day follow up, I requested to have 30 mg. He tells me it's going to require prior authorization again because he's changing the dosage and if they ask for prior authorization again, he can't do it because he doesn't have the manpower. It takes too much effort. His exact damn words. I said to him, I told you this would be a problem. I told you I wanted to start at 30 to begin with. He snapped at me and tells me if I raise my voice at him he's going to kick me out. Mind you, I wasn't yelling. But of course, a black person being upset is like yelling at a non-black person. We are always perceived as a threat. Time to find a new doctor.

Unfortunately, In…read moremy experience with using her I found several instances that she lacked knowledge of basic anatomy. I had a pulled muscle in my back and she was unable to diagnose it. She sent me to a specialist which was time consuming. The specialist was shocked that my primary care physician was unable to diagnose a pulled muscle. I also had experience with medication mismanagement. She did not routinely check to see if the drugs she were prescribing had any interactions with other medications I was taking. I also asked her if she kept up with current research in the field and she said that she did not. I finally quite seeing her and looked for a better doctor. I am a RN and I cannot recommend Dr. Schreiner.
