Despite that, she never warned me it would be removed during the work. Even more upsetting, no one called me during the process to get my approval before removing it. A wedding ring is not just jewelry -- the inscription inside was deeply personal and irreplaceable. What should have been a routine repair has left me heartbroken. I would strongly encourage anyone bringing in a sentimental piece to ask very specific questions upfront, because the communication here failed at every step.
