if i could rate negative stars i would!! this place is where we used to take my shihztu to get…read moregroomed. my family was dealing with a lot at this time, so they never went ahead and took legal action. in april 2023, we took my dog there for his haircut. when he was back home we realized he was pretty sleepy and he took a nap. later that day when he woke up, his eye was red and swollen, which he would not open. we took him to the vet, they said his cornea detached! after weeks and weeks of eye drops around the clock and many bills later, the vet did a swab test which showed the cells in his eye were rejecting the medication! he ended up having to get his eye removed... i was absolutely appalled at the response from this establishment stating "he seemed fine when he left, maybe he jumped off the couch at home and scratched his eye." and basically gaslighting me on the phone rejecting all responsibility.. when all i wanted to know was what happened to him!!! yeah, well how else would my dog get a CHEMICAL BURN IN HIS EYE AFTER THE GROOMERS!! do not send your dogs here, they do not care about your fur baby especially AFTER they send them back home with a swollen eye! and you're probably wondering why i am just now writing this 3 years later. it's because i want others to be AWARE of how they handle pets and will deny any harm caused to them.

I found Fussy Gussy Pet Sitting online and set up a meet-and-greet. Lindsay and Julie came to the house and were so friendly, professional (and punctual!), and obviously cat-lovers. I am a super anxious/paranoid cat mom and just the meet-and-greet alone made me actually feel comfortable with leaving the cats. While I was away, I got text message updates on the cats (and some pictures) during every single scheduled visit. The update let me know that they were okay, eating well, got their meds, etc. I never had to worry about the cats for the entirety of my vacation. When I finally arrived home, the cats were happy and healthy as if I had never left. My mail had been collected and my plants taken care of too. I was also left written report cards for every single visit by the sitter that went over each visit in greater detail. It is safe to say that I will be using Fussy Gussy Pet Sitting in the future. I even set him up him a large patch of grass out there. He's just not getting it. In comes Lori. She walks several dogs in the community that I live in and comes highly recommended. She's been a lifesaver for Toby! He has used the porch potty on a few occasions but he's not consistent. He'll hold it, but I feel bad making him wait all day. Lori is great with dogs. She'll come and walk Toby and send me pictures telling me how their visit went. If you need a dog walker, Lori is your gal! She's the dog whisperer.

When Kacy is sick or not feeling good, Lori will check on her and update me with how she is doing. When I'm running late from work or something comes up during a work day, Lori will come walk Kacy. She even gets him to cuddle with her on occasion! We get a text message from Kaitlyn every day after their walk to let us know how he did, and sometimes we get pictures. Scheduling is so easy and convenient. We just email Jeff our schedule every month, he immediately sends us an invoice, and we pay online -- including a tip for Kaitlyn. Whenever something comes up, like if my work schedule suddenly changes or I stay home sick, I just text Kaitlyn to let her know.
