My face was disfigured from a brutal dog bite, which created an epicanthic fold (webbing of skin) covering the corner of my left eye. The ER surgeon who stitched up my face recommended Dr. Hutter and I'm so glad he did. Dr. Hutter performed the difficult surgery brilliantly. But, I had a bad reaction to the dissolvable stitches and my body formed cysts around the sutures that never dissolved, which created another webbing appearance in the corner of my eye. Dr. Hutter told me he wasn't sure if he was skilled enough to do a second procedure (due to the delicate area and sensitive skin). I then went to a so-called specialist in Bellevue and had an awful experience-- waited over an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment just to be seen by some junior level elitist doctor who pointed out other flaws that I didn't complain about and never even got to see the specialist. I trusted my gut and asked for another appointment with Dr. Hutter. Not only did he agree to do the surgery, he also did not have any coffee prior to the surgery (probably to ensure steadiness of his hand)! He successfully removed all the cysts and newly created webbing. He was definitely skilled enough. Dr. Hutter and his staff are amazing. Even though they're all highly educated and skilled, they're down to earth, personable, and fun. And I've never had to wait to be seen by them (unlike the pompous staff at that Bellevue plastic surgeon's office). Dr. Hutter and his staff value your time and take pride in their work and results. I was referred to this office in Renton by my PCP, as I was looking to get an arm lift and tummy tuck. I had lost 100 lbs, which qualified me for hip surgery back in April 2024. I waited 2 weeks to hear back from this office, and nothing so I called them today. They told me my BMI was too high for them to consider surgery. I believe if I did not call them, they would never have bothered to call me and let me know. In addition, they did not ask me about my health or consider anything else about my lifestyle. Fat shaming at its finest...yet again. Essentially, they only offer services to skinny people, and relying only on BMI is shameful and disgusting. Not even an in-person consult. I have asked my doctor to never recommend this company. There are plenty of other offices in the Seattle area that will meet with you, and assess all aspects of a person's health and well-being. read more

Five stars all day long. I was in desperate need of a DIEP flap reconstruction after a bilateral mastectomy, chemo, a failed tissue expander, and then was abandoned by the Dr.s' in Oregon (my home State) Dr. Bailey was there to help me get the surgery I needed and what beautiful work he has done. He and his staff have been sensitive to the struggles I had with acquiring care and were there to help. I love that I can reach out the medical support assistant as I find I have questions. Original time for first consultation was @3pm. @ 12pm they called us and asked to be there by 2, which we agreed to. Rushed through traffic, was there @ 1:45 for checkin (like we were told) We were called in to the room @ 2:20 (waited for a while in the waiting room). Watched the video, waited another 20 (!!!) min for a nurse to come in and take vitals. Thank God we didn't have to wait for a doctor - Dr. Chang came within 5 min. 10 min of consult and we ended up having our appointment @ 3pm as originally scared. We spent almost an HOUR waiting and no one apologized. read more

I went to Dr. Patty Briscoe for a breast reduction. During my consultation visit, Dr. Briscoe made me feel comfortable, went over more information than I could have ever thought to ask, asked me what questions I had, and told me what to expect. She made me very relaxed and took the information she would need to send to my insurance company. Within 3 weeks, I was approved! I had my surgery approximately 9 days ago and am doing great. One thing I'm thankful to Dr. Briscoe for is mentioning a shot that I could get, that the insurance company doesn't pay for it. I could opt to pay for it myself and did. It was a shot that is put into both breasts before closing and stitching. It is a shot that GREATLY helped reduce my pain levels the first three days and helped me expedite my road to recovery! I've had my first follow up and it went great! Everything looked great!. Dr. Briscoe was kind, compassionate, had a sense of humor, very caring and is definitely interested in her patience welfare. I HIGHLY recommend her if you are having breast reduction surgery. If I had another set of breasts to reduce, I'd chose her again! I came to see Dr. Chang at Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon's Renton office in need of scar revision surgery on my chin and my eyebrow. It will be a while before I see the results of my surgery, since I have to wait for the new scar to fade, but I was very impressed with the people working in this office. I have a VERY severe phobia of needles, so on the morning of surgery, I was a nervous wreck waiting to get my IV. The only thing worse than the needle is being a 25-year-old knowing you're going to embarrass yourself in front of a bunch of nurses over a tiny needle prick. However, the nurses were SO sweet and patient with me. I got to lay in a massage chair with a heating blanket which helped to relax me. When the time came to insert the IV, the nurse stuck it in the top of my forearm which hurt far less than inside where they usually do it. While I waited to enter the operating room, the nurses constantly came to check on me to make sure I was comfortable. I was nervous because I had never been under anesthesia before, so when it was time for me to go to sleep the nurse held my hand until I was out. I honestly couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience! read more

I went in for a free consult with dr. Chang, who was a true professional. I am confident saying that because I have recommendations from other physicians and based on my own research. After y having a baby, I wanted to get breast implats. However, they couldnt give me the price at first because the manager was not there, told me to call next day. When I called she told me that she will check with doctor on monday and initial consult was on wednesday. I ended up calling couple days after and she said she still dont have it and she will call me back and mail estimate to me. Its been few weeks since my consult and today when I called she didnt even pick up. I feel VERY dissapointed in this place because I love the doctor and really wanted my surgery here, but staff made me feel that they dont care and dont want to deal with me. Now I am looking for different doctor. I am very unhappy, because I was certain that dr. Chang will do my surgery but the office staff obviously not trying to bring any business. They made me feel comfortable right away. I actually ended up meeting two if the Doctors by the time I was done and really liked them both!
