Instead, I was tricked by flashy marketing and walked away feeling completely deceived, and quite honestly traumatized and in a worst state then when I went in. The surgery was supposed to be straightforward, yet I ended up with a crater deformity on one side and visible scars around my areolas -- which were promised to be "virtually invisible." The consultations were cold and rushed, with little sense of genuine care or connection. The before-and-after photos on his website are also very deceiving. They're taken in different rooms with different lighting, and the after photos are in a cold room, making the nipples hard so results look tighter than they really are. It's misleading marketing, plain and simple. I felt like I was just used the entire process to help promote their business. After surgery, I was still completely out of it from anesthesia.The staff wheeled me straight out to my girlfriend's car and pretty much dumped me into the passenger seat. I came-to halfway home. I had no idea where I was and just started to cry b/c I was so frightened (and probably b/c of what my subconscious just witnessed happening). Two weeks later, I noticed a crease forming in my right areola. When I brought it up, I was told by Dr. Marosan to "rub Aquaphor on it." That was the only advice given. A year later, nothing had improved. Too much tissue had been aggressively removed, leaving an uneven, sunken appearance on one side. The scars were still VERY obvious. All of this from a simple procedure. I am not overweight and did not need a massive amount of work done - just the glands removed behind my areola due to adolescent gyno. To make things worse, I discovered my before-and-after photos on his website with a fabricated story claiming I was thrilled with the results. None of that was true. They used decieving before and after photos invented a completely bs narrative about my experience (maybe they're allowed to do that considering I signed everything w/o reading the small print). But I'm allowed to write an honest review about my side of the story here and I hope people read this! So much of my experience at this clinic was straight up unethical. I tried multiple times to reach out. emails, voicemails, phone calls, and got no response. The one time someone picked up, I was told he was "out of town," and the call ended there. No follow-up, no accountability, no care. All of this for $9,000 for a simple procedure from a 'master, experienced plastic surgeon who has done 1000s of these surgeries'. I really expected a simple outcome. Instead, I got deformity, neglect, and silence. I'm sharing this so others know what I wish I had known: the marketing and promises do not match the experience. I was very specific in stating that I was exploring surgical procedures and I may not be able to accommodate a surgical procedure. I said I would only agree to spend $250 on a consult with him if I could use it toward a non-surgical procedure like injectables if I decided not to move forward. They agreed, and now, they are RENEGING on that promise!! They have no problem now that they have your money!! They've apologized for the misunderstanding, but will not make any exception or offer any kind of concession. So be clear, that when you give them $250 or more to have a consultation with Dr. Amadi, you will lose that amount if you decide not to do a surgical procedure or decide not to move forward with him. They will justify this action by saying he takes 1.5hrs of his time to consult with you. I did not dispute that. I was clear of the time he was spending but again, they said I could apply it to a non-surgical procedure. I thought this was fair because I kept the money in his practice. I was not asking for my money back. Aside from this, their front desk and Dr Amadi were nice. You have choices! Do your research and ask for their policies. Ask how they do their consultations. Get things in writing. As a sidenote, from my experience & opinion, 1.5hrs is not needed when you're just exploring options and doctors for the first time. You want to talk with other Plastic surgeons to get their inputs, costs and policies. Most of these intro level appointments have not been more than 30 to 60 minutes elsewhere. And if I wanted to explore further wi a doctor I booked another appointment. If Dr Amadi wants to run his practice this way, that's his choice. Just be very clear that you will lose that money if you choose not to do surgery with him.

His staff were really friendly, used appropriate pronouns, (even though I'm not passing), and they made me feel like I had been going there for years. I was skeptical about his work that I had seen because his pictures were old. But he walked me through the process and explained what he had learned over the years. It was refreshing to know that a surgeon had kept up on the technology and adapted his process. That impressed me. I'm post op, retained my grafts, have no dog ears and my scar lines are tiny, which was amazing because I was huge. I've seen other surgeons work and you won't be able to convince me that Dr. M isn't one of the best. I'm not only a fan, but I'm going to advertise for him for free. He's great guys. No need to go to Florida or CA. We have a high class surgeon right here in Seattle.
