Worst experience of my life!!!!!!!! I am from Tennessee i just recently moved to Everett about a month ago. My GPS did not tell me the area right by Planned Parenthood was under construction so I was late for my appt, I called prior to being late because I had already walked 6 miles to this location. My birth control is poking me in my arm so I need to be seen immediately. I arrived and although the receptionist told me it was fine they would not see me because I was 14 mins late. They treated me like the scum on the bottom of your shoe . Will never ever return! read more

From the second I walked in to the second I walked out, I felt so comfortable and like my needs were important to them. It was a very clean and inviting, and a very calm environment. They offered snacks and drinks, they were really thorough about the information they collected which made me feel like they really cared about everything about me. They took the time to make sure that I was comfortable, they explained everything that went on in the procedure really well, and they told me if I needed to stop at any time that they could. They provided heating pads and even had a recovery room. They gave me a birth control implant the same day, they offered a couple options for how I wanted to abort, and they even had several other services that they offered. We were going to consider getting my partner sterilized, but we opted for birth control instead. They were really flexible and told me that if I changed my mind at any time that they would understand. Something else that was kind of unique as well was the fact that they asked me if I wanted to see the ultrasound and if I wanted to know how many fetuses were there. It was a very comforting experience as I felt in control of everything. read more

The staff here, all of them, even the volunteers are so sweet and gentle. PP protects their people because of the folks who are against women's health, but it really is a shame that there are people who shame patients. This isnt always the case when I've been here, really only once out of a handful of times. They have tons of different resources for men and women. read more

I absolutely loved my experience here. I came here for an STI screening (full panel, which I'm glad they offered), and everyone I interacted with was so lovely. Leona at the front desk was really personable and welcoming. She made me feel calm and comfortable, and I appreciated that she was good about keeping details private (she checked to make sure there were no other patients in the lobby before discussing my insurance with me). Jessica was my nurse, and she was so kind and validating. She asked me about my sex life in a gentle manner--I felt incredibly safe. She was really sweet about drawing my blood, too, even though my veins weren't cooperating. I appreciated my time with her! Jewel was my PA and she was reassuring and knowledgeable. She explained all of the STIs and incubation periods, and walked me through steps I could take to minimize risk. I felt welcome and also encouraged to ask all the questions I had. Tasha (?) was my phlebotomist (because my veins were cooperating with my first blood draw) and she was fun and accommodating. She made sure I was comfortable and also offered me apple juice at the end of my visit. She also had really cute holiday nails lol Highly recommend this Planned Parenthood location! It was easy to schedule an appointment, I got plenty of reminders, and everyone was really welcoming. It felt like such a safe space, which is extra important when it comes to such vulnerable topics! Edit: I'm a hard draw (it usually takes me 3-5 pokes for a blood draw) and they sent me over to LabCorp after 3 unsuccessful attempts. To the reviewer who said the staff at Planned Parenthood is untrained: it took LabCorp 3 attempts as well. It had nothing to do with the staff. Everyone was really experienced and careful; my veins are just difficult. read more

The staff is non judgmental, inclusive and knowledgeable in comprehensive reproductive health. The facility is clean and well kept. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. HANDS DOWN. Like any normal person I don't particularly enjoy going to clinics. But the Everett planned parenthood treated me so well, that I had to do some thing that I never do, which is make a yelp review. I specifically downloaded the yelp app to share my appreciation for the staff members at the Everett planned parenthood. Upon arrival, I was met by a woman by the name of Leona at the front desk, who was absolutely fantastic. Great personality and so warm and welcoming. I waited a decent amount of time before my name was called by an another staff member by the name of Summer. who was just delightful to be around. This particular staff member helped me in more ways than she would know. I was very nervous about being there, but halfway through our conversation, I realized I was no longer nervous and had almost completely forgotten why I was there. It's extremely refreshing to be around people you can be comfortable with. Especially at a clinic. The second time I had to go to the Everett Planned Parenthood I was met again by a friendly familiar face, Leona at the front desk. Who again made me feel so welcomed. As I waited a reasonable wait time, I was called by another staff member by the name of Kioko. She, like Summer before her, was an absolute pleasure to be around. Great personality and Great work ethic. It was also very comforting to see a variety of different Ethnicities working at the Everett planned parenthood. I myself am from ethnic dissent and it's encouraging and empowering to have people that look like me in a place where not a lot of people expect us to be. Nice staff. Went in for a simple screening. Literally 1 tube of blood. An hr and a half, 3 pokes later... had to be sent to Lab Corp. I am a hard stick but literally no one seemed really qualified in drawing blood because the things I literally witnessed was really pathetic, untrained and seemed like a guessing game. The employees at this location are incredible. Every single one of them is welcoming, kind, compassionate, and truly cares about you. I've been to this location twice and have had a great experience each time. Also today when I went, there were volunteer escorts which I thought was so awesome! I thought I was gonna have to fight a protestor before my appointment but thankfully it was just the volunteer escort staff being wonderful angels. I was skeptical at first from coming here because the comments seemed so bad but my experience was fantastic!! Maybe because it was Friday but the staff was insane nice and the one I talked to said "we are here to help and support you" ahhhhh I felt so special. By far the nicest welcome I've ever had and they answered any questions. I got a morning appt that I made online and it went by smoothly and fast. My appt was at 8:40 am and I ended up leaving like 30 mins later, paperwork filled out and everything. They address all your concerns and there were no creeps outside when I went. read more

I went to this location today for the first time. I've been to other planned parenthoods in other states and I have to say, some of the nicest people I've ever met work at this one! I just went in for a birth control prescription and Violet and Pauline at the front desk were so kind and helpful, put me at ease right away! My nurse was Velvet and practitioner (I don't remember her last name sorry!) was Melissa and I can't be thankful for them enough. They were outgoing, so easy to talk to, even a little funny. Going to a new doctor is always a little harsh on the nerves and both of them made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. I was able to talk to them about embarrassing questions very easily. The facility was quick, clean, and well organized. I got in and out very quickly and only waited a short time to be seen! Will be recommending this to everyone who is looking and will return here for my future needs!! read more

This place is awful. For some reason they think it's acceptable for people to wait 35-40 min after their scheduled apt. She said my check in time was the time given not the time for my apt. Really cause I was 10 min early to fill out my paperwork. I wouldn't even be here but my regular doctor is in Seattle and I thought this might be more convenient since it's very close to my house. I don't have time to wait around while you get your crap together. Update: someone walked in the examination room asking who I was and if someone saw me yet. Nope and it's been over an hour! Good to know how organized you are can't even keep patients in order. read more

I first came here at 17 to first get birth control. I was so thankful for the helpful staff and my visit and meds were all free. I'm thankful we now have access to those now for free thanks to Obamacare, but at the time that was a financial burden I was not able to take on. read more

I would leave negative stars if possible. I have rescheduled an IUD appointment 7 times. And it always takes me driving all the way up to the clinic to find out they ran out of the item or it was rescheduled for me or some other weird reason. I've called a half an hour before the appointment and still when I arrive they inform me they can't see me. And of the first and only appointment I was able to have scheduled properly and attend I was the first person there and my appointment was the first for that day and yet I was the 5 or 6th person to be seen that day. And the person I ended up seeing walked in that morning with me so it's not like my provider forgot to show up or was late. I really want to support Planned Parenthood. Now that I have a great job with great insurance I wanted to establish service with them exclusively for sexual health related appointments. And if you get Kimberley as an appointment scheduler beware. I can't seem to get anyone else and she always seems to mess up my appointments. Sadly I will not be able to patron Planned Parenthood. This level of incompetence is mind boggling. I'm still in shock...I just don't understand...can't believe the level of incompetence. read more

I got an IUD on inserted today. It was my first time going to planned parenthood and my first time ever receiving birth control. I have never A care team more kind, caring, sweet, and loving. I 100% recommend going to this location. I felt so welcomed and the care was absolutely amazing. they knew I was nervous so they kept checking in on me to make sure I was ok and we took everything slow.I love this Planned Parenthood and will absolutely go back there in the future if needed. I went into this clinic a month ago to switch birth control methods from the pill to the patch. I went into my pharmacy today to find out that my doctor had cancelled the pills but had not put in for the patches. I called the office and now I have to wait "a day or two" to get my percription. I've been here a few times before. I even walked out once after waiting an hour for a shot and people we're being called in before me. The first time I was there, I asked to be put on the same brand of the pill I had, but the doctor ignored that request and gave me a different brand. The best I can say is the staff here is very friendly. I feel like I'm being pretty generous giving two stars. UPDATE: I got a call this morning explaining what happened. The doctor had written down that we had consulted new methods but didn't sign me up for a nee prescription, even though we agreed on a year's supply. The lady I spoke with said she would get ahold of the doctor and ask her to approve my prescription. Nice people still, but I figured dealing with someone's well being would be cause to be more careful. read more

If you make an appointment at the location be willing to wait an extra 40mins until your get called to the back I made my appointment for 3:30pm I got here on time and I'm still waiting. I'll be traveling to Seattle from now on because at least they go by there appointments read more

Upon setting up my new membership with my local planned parenthood I noticed how clean and attentive that the facility to ensure safely of the community and their employees. This is the worst place ever, I've been going here since I was 15 years old. Well, I got pregnant and I wanted them to confirm my pregnancy they certainly did, but they gave me so many brochures on to abortion because I was young I was 17 about to turn 18 years old. Well, a few weeks ago, I wanted to get the IUD the nurse who was locking at my information was nothing but rude, I left there crying. They kept on calling me for me to come back all because I said they lost my business. She was rude to me, had an attitude, and I don't recommend this place at all! On top of that, I waited for almost an hour for them not to to get me it, so I wasted my time and money just coming here! read more

UPDATE!!! Today, I received a phone call from the Everett Health Center Manager. She was very apologetic about what had happened and before calling me she had already called the collection agency to have them retract the collection. She also told me that it was taken care of on their end and that they were going to write off the balance - so I now owe nothing. To me that was awesome that she would go so far as to do that. She said that they are trying to get the Managers made aware of things like this so that mistakes like this don't go this far. I was very grateful for the quick response and the overall outcome. I went in here with my sister in law and I had no choice but to bring my kids with me. Well my two year old is potty training and really had to go so I open the door and the toilet was plugged with dirty toilet paper in it.... We told the front staff right away and it took 30 mins for them to get off their chairs to unplug it. They didn't offer for my daughter to go in the back and use a bathroom. When the assistant opened the door and called my sister in laws name I asked if she could use the restroom back their and she was very snoody about it! The customer service here is horrible and they don't treat people with respect. read more

I'd like to start by saying this has nothing to do with the medical staff. They have always been fantastic. The people who work at the front counter have been nothing but a pain to deal with for years. I have been going here for about 5 years and have had nothing but issues with them. The first appointment ever was scheduled for the wrong type of appointment and after I had sat there for over an hour waiting I asked how much longer it would be for the appointment and the woman says I called you along time ago. No. My name is not common and I would have heard it if you called or you whispered it so I couldn't hear you over the packed loud waiting area. She then tells me I wasn't even scheduled for the right appointment and I would have to come back. Not sure how it was my fault it was scheduled wrong since I didn't physically put the appointment in their system the girl on the phone did and I told her repeatedly I was a new patient. Fast forward a year and they call to ask me if they can change my type of appointment and time so they can leave early that day and they would schedule me to see the doctor the next time. Now once a year I've dealt with them telling me once I'm there I have the wrong type of appointment even though at the previous appointment I walk out hand them the card with the date on it for my next appointment and they schedule it before I leave. How am I supposed to know if they schedule the right thing or not since I'm not behind the counter doing it? Not sure why I put up with this BS for so long other than I was trying to support them. Today was the last straw. I am done with them and will never be back. Their front office staff is inept at best. read more
