At first, Josh appeared, professional and knowledgeable, and he assured us that he could have a crew and equipment on site immediately. He pressured us to pay in full before any word began stating that he needed the money to secure rental equipment and pay his workers. Against our better judgment, and because he insisted this was the only acceptable form of payment for a job. This size we paid him $14,500 in cash. Within within an hour, the crew arrived and began cutting. Not even 30 minutes into the job a large branch was dropped, crushing our shed and damaging our well system. Immediately after causing the damage, the crew packed up and left the property without explanation and never returned. We attempted to contact Josh multiple times, but he refuses to answer or take responsibility. We filed a report with the sheriffs office, but were told it is considered a civil matter. At this point it feels like we are dealing with a clear case of fraud yet as the saying goes, you can't get blood from a stone.
