Straight absurd. There is NO WAY we are using enough power to warrant a bill like this. This isn't even doable. So over the inflation and building back better. Nothing is better. Nothing. Nueces Electric Cooperative Just found out that the power our solar panels create haven't been applied to our bill but been given to the electric company. When they came and installed the smart meter they never enrolled them In The buy back. For 4.5 years we have been robbed of any and all power we've created. Plus we've paid the loan for them to have it. Sick isn't the word for how I feel rn. :( NEC is saying we never signed the "buy back" contract which is absolutely absurd because we had to sign isomething during installation because we had to request the meter and have them come out and put it in. Why would we request the meter.... then not use it... They are not admitting fault and are blaming us. As it turns out this is Spark solar responsibility. They failed to obtain the proper contracts upon installation. We have lost a combined $26,000. Over the course of the last 4.5 years. Roughly $12,849 in electric bills and $13,241 paying on a solar panel loan for solar panels that were supplying the city of corpus/AEP with power. While we are still in contract for another 26 years.
