The world needs more pet stores and alternatives to PetSmart but this ain't it. The store is quite…read morelarge and spacious but the food selection is pretty poor compared to a lot of smaller stores, especially the cat section. Heck, even their Beechmont location has a better selection and that's store is tiny in comparison. The store is shockingly unorganized as well. At a glance it looked nice but try looking for specific things and you quickly realize how bad it is. The animal water receptacle in the parking lot looked like it hadn't been emptied in months. Restarting I had to stop by this leave again a week later and it still wasn't emptied. The ferrets water bottle was completely empty so I mentioned it to a cashier who tried to explain they had been too busy to check on the animals. It's already bad enough that all of those ferrets have to share one little bottle but then you have staff that don't make it a priority to ensure they have water.

I had taken my dog in for a nail trim and buff on June 19th and by June 26th (1 week) he already…read moreneeded another trim. After taking him to Petsmart for the same services their groomer informed me they had barely trimmed his nails, did not grind them and did not do either dew claw. This is the second issue I've had with the groomers here, the first being everyone deciding to go home on a random Monday at 4pm (March 10). I will not be returning and do not recommend.

It's hard breaking to leave, but it's so worth it coming here and give a little loving to the animals without a family. The staff here seemed helpful and very friendly every time I visit. The place was clean and well kept. The shelter has separate areas for the cats and the dogs, I also like it that they have a lounge for anyone who wants to meet and get reacquainted with the animal. While I was at the dog area, I noticed blankets covering some cages. It's really a brilliant idea since some dogs seemed to have reactions with another dog. It helps the animal calm down I guess. If you have time- visit a shelter, who knows you might meet your furry child or four legged best friend.

I had signed up to foster a couple dogs... one of the dogs did not work out. It needed a lot more attention and care than I realize I could handle. I had reached out at four in the morning, almost 5 stating that I don't think I can keep this dog another night because of said issues... the coordinator then pretty much told me that maybe fostering isn't for me. If I can't handle a few more days with the dog then I shouldn't foster. Which initially I was thinking about trying to push off a few more days, but like I mentioned, this dog has a lot more to him than I had realized. So I texted her and let her know that I was in route and on my way. And essentially, since I decided to bring this dog back, I am now blacklisted and can no longer adopt any dogs or foster there. And I had to bring the other one back too even though I mentioned I could keep him still multiple of times. This was not my understanding of what fostering is or how it works or how it's done... I was trying to open up my home. And do something good. And clearly it backfired. Just thought I would warn people that if you decide to foster, and if you decide even after a day that a dog is not a good fit for you and your family that you will no longer be allowed to foster or adopt.

They specialize in fish here, not like a run of the mill pet store does. They actually quarantine the new fish and make sure they are well before selling them. This is my new go to Aquarium store. Sure the prices are a bit higher here, but the old saying has never been more true, you get what you pay for. You want quality? You gotta spend a little more, which to me is great. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could but unfortunately, 5 is the limit.

Update; This business owner is over -the-top, and not in a…read moregood way. His response perfectly demonstrates exactly what I described. *The lies *The excuses *The accusations Just as expected. I (unlike the shop owner and the 'groomer') have no reason to lie. The pictures show only the visible part of the damage. The permanent damage to his trachea, his knee and front leg/shoulder cannot be seen except on X-rays. The emotional damage and PTSD is an everyday thing and I'm still working at a snails pace, gentling him back into grooming. He doesn't shake as much as he did at first but it's still awful for him. These people are monsters, and the 'groomer', Cassidy...I don't know this person, never met her before, but I do know that she has absolutely no business dealing with animals. Shame on you people! Dropped off my Pom for basic grooming with Cassidy. Instead of a well groomed fluffy happy Pomeranian, I picked up a very quiet little Pom with The entire bottom half of guard hairs cut off, you can see his skin through the undercoat that is left. He was abused in a manner that caused his trachea to partially collapse with improper use of the grooming loop. Cassidy caused his front right leg to no longer have full range of motion, and a luxating patella (his right rear leg), repaired with no issues for ten years, is knocked out of place as a result of the 'grooming' he received from Cassidy. The owner was rude, accused me of lying. Cassidy lied. Another employee there lied. Owner was physically very threatening, approaching me quickly several times stopping inches from my face, so close his spit got on my face as he yelled at me. Of that's the sort of thing you are looking for, you're going to absolutely LOVE this place!

Absolutely the most amazing service!! They were so gentle with my pup and were so understanding of…read morehis needs! My pup is pretty dog reactive and they were so accommodating and kind. They are the first groomer that hasn't hurt my pup while grooming him, he came back to me so happy and crazy just like when I dropped him off. The prices were incredible for the service. Normally it costs well over $100 for a doodle grooming, but I paid around $65 for the grooming (bath, trim, nails), it was more with a tip of course but they were wonderful so absolutely deserved! So thank you a ton for being good to him, he'll be back soon!!

I come here often for crickets. out of convenience…read more well it stops today! i saw they have two rabbits housed together. i ask the staff where they came from not only do they come from a distribution BREEDER but they also offer (after housing them together) to get sold separately! rabbits ARE NOT like cats and dogs. once they bond you should NEVER separate them!! they go through heartbreak!! that is not okay or fair to them. the LEAST you can do, since you're so money hungry is house them separately. disgusted! not spending another penny here. you're a pet store CARE ABOUT THE ANIMALS. thats number one!! the store stinks and the employee with the curly hair/fro is rude and tries to "mult-task" by asking someone to pay their bill while checking out the next customer. made it extremely awkward between us customers to the point we were apologizing to one another while we crossed over in front of each other and hes rushing us. shitty store all together.
