They didn't have any minimums and their rental rate was very reasonable compared to other places I looked at. Everyone complimented the venue and we were really happy with our choice. They were also really easy to deal with and accommodating of any questions we had, they helped make everything run really smoothly. Also it's a historic venue which is really cool!

But I do want to mention that little small bites of good pastries is definitely the way to go. I never eat a whole piece of cheesecake or any dessert, for that matter, anymore. Everything on the buffet was very flavorful and what I noticed was that everything had it's own taste. I've been to buffets and it seemed as though everything had similar ingredients. Not so here. They had the best cabbage rolls I've had in a long time, as well as surprisingly good perogies. My husband totally enjoyed his spinach and mushroom omelet prepared at the omelet station. They did a wonderful job of allowing us to kinda check in early and then called us when our room was ready. The rooms were nicely appointed in our double Queen with a good amount of room. The bathroom is a little snug, given the door brushes the front of the toilet. The bathroom is a one person at a time deal unless you're fine with close proximity bathroom habits. The bed was comfy, which is always a big thing for us. The breakfast covers all the bases, and although not memorable, offers a good variety to satisfy most seekers of the most important meal of the day. Location, comfort, nostalgia, parking, walk ability and you have us interested. Add great staff and you have a gem overlooked. Don't tell anyone though please.

From the moment the happy couple walked through the door and met Georg to their actual wedding day almost one year later, we all felt special. In addition, the value for money was extraordinary. At a time when couples are being subjected to excruciating prices, Guisachan is the standout exception. It is truly a one stop shop too. Not just a gorgeous venue for both the ceremony and reception, but flowers, cake, scrumptious four course sit down dinner, very reasonable prices for wine and high balls personally served, music (just give him your playlist), ice sculpture of your choice and magnificent table settings; Georg takes care of everything!
