You then shower 12-24 hours later normally, without shaving. I waited for about 24 hours. I love that you can sleep without the tan getting on your sheets, especially considering ours are white. I got this for an event last weekend and am still loving it! I told her exactly what I wanted, although it was difficult as I had not had a spray tan in probably ten years! She somehow knew exactly what to do, and it was beautiful and natural looking. Almost 6 days later, still tan and beautiful. Me being me, I had plenty of questions. When I went into this location a few weeks ago, I was helped by a girl (who may be the manager?) who was extremely nice and sociable with me- I told her the deal that I hadn't been tanning in over 15 years, but I wanted a nice base tan for a big trip I had coming up. We talked extensively about my needs and my trip, she helped me get lots of lotion, etc. I told her I was only doing the tanning before the trip and then will be cancelling. She signed me for a monthly package which was fine, because I planned on coming many times before my trip to tan. I did go in many times and all the girls were super nice every time I came in, except ironically this girl who was SO NICE to me the first time we met, but unfortunately I think I realized it was all an act to get me to sign up and buy everything. Which is really sad because usually I can tell when people are just being fake in order to sell you something, etc. But she was not nice to me any other time I went in afterwards :( So anyway, went in today to do my final tan before my trip tomorrow and I wanted to cancel before the new month started (that she told me would be no problem to cancel a few weeks ago), now this same girl says I can't cancel because I have to pay for 2 months first before I cancel. Which she absolutely did not tell me I had to do when I signed up. And her response today was "well you signed the paperwork" Ok? I was there for an hour and we chatted so much and I told her I was not going to continue on with tanning after my trip, so why did she sign me up for this knowing that was all I needed? It's deceitful! And I know these aren't her policies, but she knew good and well what she was doing and I don't like doing business with people/companies like that. When I called customer service, the lady said the first charge was the membership charge and the next months charge was the regular $77 monthly charge. The girl at the salon did NOT tell me there was any type of membership charge?! It is all such a joke. So now I am going to be charged another $77.. a total of $154 for 10 tanning trips? If that. I thought okay it will develop over time and went to sleep in it. I woke up still the exact same color as before (which is blindingly pale). I had 2 splotches of orange on my stomach and one on my hips. I followed the instructions very carefully. I did every position exactly as the lady and the poster showed me and still saw absolutely no results. After rinsing my "tan" off in the morning, I ended up having to apply my own self tan mousse in order to actually get the results I was looking for. Whatever you do DO NOT go here. You will waste $42 on quite literally nothing. The only good thing I can say is that the lady who showed me how to use the spray tan booth and walked me through before and after care was really nice.
