A gem of a place for lunch, and do stay or come back for wine or cocktails later in the evening.
A bit off the main road in Nantes. We stumbled upon this place rather by accident, but the warmth of the owner, a young man named Gildas became one of our best memories in Nantes. He took the time to share his knowledge of local wines, the culture, the places to go, and other restaurants.
Food is typically French and I mean that in the best of ways: local game, seafood and vegetables grown locally. A celebration of simple and good and well prepared. Lunch is busy, so try to come a bit early.
Not serving dinner, but do come later for a bottle of wine or drinks before dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. And you may purchase wine here.
