And rescheduling is 3 months out. They have recommended unnecessary procedures: when primary dentist dr. Santamaria was not available to check my then 9 year old, dr. Schneider checked him and recommended and scheduled (with his mother) filling in a baby tooth. Previous appointment had determined minor cavity in baby tooth was not in need of care. Only at my insistence was filling cancelled and Dr. Santamaria looked at it and agreed no filling recommended. (Was revenue grab by Dr. Schneider?). Tooth fell out a few months later. Today, they called hour before appointment to cancel saying dentist unexpectedly had to leave early. Offered January 20th (it is Sept 29th) as next available for 6-month checkup on 13 year-old. After I said I could come tomorrow and that they could have dentist call if that would not work. Dentist called --said he had to get haircut today and he would not make time for us tomorrow (so January 20th offer was a take it or leave it option). If we did not like it, find another practice. So unprofessional.

One dentist told me i would loss me tooth, so i went to another office. These guys saved my tooth with ease! I have always felt respected and cared for while visiting. The teeth cleanings are amazing and they REALLY take their time with you. They thoroughly go over everything to make sure you are comfortable. I feel leaving confident knowing my teeth are in great shape after seeing them. They always work around your schedule i got in for a teeth cleaning at 5pm! Also if i request to come in early (if someone cancels) they always call me and get me right in. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My entire experience with Dr. Strickland and his assistant Erin was fantastic through and through…read more I had a broken crown that had got extremely infected to where the odor of the infection could be noticed by other people during casual conversation. Most dentist I went to see about getting the crown fixed continuously pointed me in the most expensive direction which was to extract the tooth and get an implant. Dr. Strickland demonstrated that he cares about the patient more then financial gain because he was able to redo the horrible root canal that I had previously, salvage my tooth and he used a fiber post instead of a metal post for my crown knowing I have toddler children who occasionally head-but , punch , and kick my face (accidentally most of the time lol) preventing the crown to break as easy if he were to have put in a metal post. He is very diligent and precise in his work and I strongly suggest to use Dr. Strickland for all of your dental needs. Dr. Strickland's assistant Erin was a complete joy to have cleaning my mouth and did a great job of removing hardened Planck and stains from smoking off of my teeth. Even though it required a lot of hard scraping of the teeth and around the gums she was very careful and made sure I was comfortable for what could have been extremely painful if someone heavy handed and inconsiderate was doing the same work. I was able to leave the office with minimal pain and teeth that are now 3 shades brighter. On top of the good work , the office is a very present place to get work done and waiting for your appointment. When you walk in you are immediately greeted by the staff and the environment is very positive. From the cozy fireplace , the good music and modern decorations and equipment my experience was a 10/10. I would suggest Plainville family dental to anyone who needs any kind of dental work. However, this dentist uses a tool that helps hold your mouth open and offsets the sound of any drilling. Additionally, there's a TV that you can watch during your appointment. For those of you sensitive to smells, the office does not smell like a typical dental office, almost reminds me of going to a spa. I am glad to have found Dr. Khan.

I do have a balance with the office which I am doing my best to resolve, but due to Covid ruining so many things, including work for a while, I've been able to pay. Anyways, I called once this afternoon and told them about my balance but asked that they please see me because I'm having pain. She said someone would call me back and no one ever did. So I called the office back asking the same thing again, saying I had never received a call back. They advised that due to my balance they cant help me and "find a new dentist." You can imagine my astonishment at this, being a long time patient! Do they not know what is going on in the world right now and the hardships people are facing? Unbelievable. Do yourself a favor and don't go to his dentist office.
