Meditation Labyrinth Review 3 of 3…read more Follow the tree-lined road through the main gates of the St. Joseph's Convent (just north of Candlewood Road) about 1/2 mile into their "212 landscaped and wooded acres" to find this Classical seven-ring labyrinth outlined by white rock and shrubbery. Surrounding it are seven pear trees, planted in memorial to various families and individuals. It is barely visible on Google Earth, but if you look it is there. Aside from this attraction, the convent grounds here are vast and well maintained, with nice statuary and architectural features. Their website invites visitors, though on-site signs are posted prohibiting trespassing. . . just look like you belong, and you shouldn't have a problem. I've never waked this labyrinth, but here it is, for those interested. On looks and vibe alone, I give it a healthy four stars, pilgrims.

My Video Review of this can be found on YouTube : https://youtu.be/OpdReqZ2f1Y…read more Salam, What an Awesome Masjid/Mosque ... This was my First time visiting and I loved how spacious the Mosque is, ample amount of parking and such friendly people .. I would have given this a 5 star but due to few issues I observed I feel it deserves 3 Star and I think the Mosque Board Members responsible for this ... We went on the last day of Ramadan, throughout my life, I have been to 100's of various mosque in USA to 3rd World Countries ... The Beautiful thing I have always seen during Ramadan are Water bottles and Dates - given out few minutes before the "OPENING OF FASTING" and unfortunately I had to look all over and go to the Basement to seek few Dates, Had I known this I would have gotten a whole BOX of DATES for Everyone ... I saw and observed people asking me for DATES as I walked towards my wife to bring her a date so she can break fast while I observed over 100+ people on the line to BUY FOOD from the Stand ... I offered to give half of my date and other half to keep for my wife and myself ... I understand the need for Mosque to make sure PEOPLE buy FOOD and WATER from VENDOR but its RAMADAN and WATER AND DATES SHOULD BE FREE ... NO QUESTIONS ASKED !!! I Love how ISLAM is so giving and when it comes to FEEDING THE HUNGRY it says we should not care weather the person is Muslim, Christian, Jew, Hindu, etc and Feed them at any cost ... Yet I saw OUR OWN MUSLIM BROTHERS AND SISTERS trying to find ways to BREAK FAST and unable to do so because the LINE to BUY FOOD and WATER was tooo long :-(

You are reminded that cameras are not allowed and phones must be turned off. The service started promptly at 10:00am. Pews are close and low but comfortable. The Synagogue is decorated with religious symbols on the walls. It has high ceilings and on the backs of the pews are name plates for parishioners who've donated to the Synagogue. These plates are also displayed at the entrance and in the encased glass in the lobby. Gorgeous wooden ark holds the Torahs on the alter wall. The Bar Mitzvah service is interactive ( call & response) and engaging, simply one of the most beautiful church services I've ever partaken in. I thoroughly was intrigued by the service and the singing of the scripture and many questions began to well up within me during the service. I'm glad that we were invited to celebrate this awesome occasion. Shalom!!
