If you attend this school, you will be ready for college and managing the issues involved with larger schools. It is imperative that students look for ways to self-advocate and imperative to get involved in clubs or other activities. Parents will need to be more involved to help with a 4-year plan to use the many options available at the school. The music program is excellent in all areas, choir, orchestra and band... the athletic opportunities are strong (although if you are a casual player, you may not make Varsity or JV)... the clubs can sometimes fill up too much and they have to have try-outs. It can be frustrating to be 'locked out' of an opportunity, but it is good learning for life in general. Best wishes as you choose high schools!

We just moved back home from living in the city, so this was the first time out of an urban area and also out of a Montessori set-up. She loves it here! The teachers are helpful and extremely good at communicating with parents. It's nice to be in the loop. My daughter has some physical limitations and they are more than accommodating and go out of their way to make sure she is comfortable at school.

My favorite classes were math, science, and chorus. I especially want to make note of the chorus teacher. This young man was a pleasure to watch work!!!! He was incredibly patient, energetic, and engaging!!! I was in band in middle school as a kid and would have loved to have a teacher like him when I was in school. The other classes were fun as well. The kids were kind and friendly which says a much about the staff!!! Keep up the good work everyone at Croan, I feel my tax dollars are well spent.
