My daughter has danced at Inspire for over 8 years and is on their Company team. She loves every minute of it! The love and devotion of each dancer, high-level training, second-to-none instructors, caliber of outside choreographers, and access to dance experiences outside the studio cannot be matched.

For a few different reasons, I want to keep my review anonymous, as it can be a bit of a conflict…read moreof interest for me. But with that said, Inspire is nationally known for creating world-class dancers. I have seen countless performances and videos of their work, and I am never let down by the technique, versatility, and advanced skill and artistry. I have had contacts/friends from inspire for over a decade, and I have seen so much growth from the company. They were always talented, as Anne Forrest knows how to train dancers, but they have started working with top-notch choreographers, which highlights the dancers' versatility and technique. I have never been a student at Inspire, so I can't speak on the culture or environment of the studio. But what i can say is that Anne knows what she's doing and know have to train technically-advanced and marketable dancers. Due to their reputability, they have kind of become a pre-professional company. This is a testament to the talent and training of the studio, but I also know that this is not for everyone, as some people aim to utilize dance as a hobby or outlet rather than a career path. With that said, a dancer will definitely get an advanced dance education here, and that can be hard to find nowadays. If you look into Inspire's graduates and their accomplishments, you will for sure see why they are so well-respected and nationally recognized. Another additive for some is that the studio is kind of a hidden gem... they are well-respected and very competitive, but they are not a studio that is all about social media presence and fame. this has upsides and downsides, but in the the long run, this is beneficial for your child's progression, privacy, and learning environment. All in all, Inspire is known for incredible training, and any child that is passionate about dance would benefit so much from attending.

I've also been involved in a few of their productions. The location is easy-to-find with ample parking right in front of the building. The inside is clean, well-maintained, and has 2 studios spaces (one large, one medium-sized) plus a couple lounge areas, one of which is used for music lessons and as a waiting area for clients and parents. The large studio has plenty of room to accommodate many dancers, adequate vertical space for leaps and jumps, very sturdy barres, and a comfortable, marley-covered floor. Though I have experience in music and am rhythmically capable, I was completely new to ballet when I started here. Heather's experience in the ballet world and in teaching the methods become apparent right away. She provides instructions that are very clear and offers cues that help to easily address form issues. Between exercises, she'll share the history of the movements and techniques, the origin of the words and phrasings, and the anatomy/kinesiology and physics behind the movements. This makes the class very interesting to me. She's also able to accommodate everyone in the class regardless of ability level, providing individual instruction equally among the dancers. Heather's great at assigning challenging routines that are just at the top of my abilities so that I'm pushed towards improvement. Ballet is physically demanding no doubt, but a lot of the difficulty for me comes from the mental and memory aspects of learning a routine. It is hard work, and I find it very rewarding. During my time with the studio, I've been given the opportunity to perform in a couple of their productions. It's great to be able to put all that hard work into a final product that my family and friends can enjoy! It's also wonderful to be able to do this alongside her other students and company members as a team. I've witnessed firsthand that this studio forges hard-working young individuals who learn to take criticism as opportunity for improvement, work hard for results, and take pride in their accomplishments.
