A little off the beaten path, but a nice and somewhat quiet beach club. Unlike some others in the general area, Passable was much more tranquil than expected. The food was decently good, but not as refined as some others we visited.

This is for the restaurant...and I only had the caprese: a medium boule of buffalo mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes, fresh shredded beets and olive oil with garlic all on a bed of finely chopped fresh root vegetables--which was excellent all around. The service as well was warm and welcoming and the ambiance relaxed.

For a remote escape away from the overly crowded nearby beaches - ahem, Nice and the port-side of St. Jean Cap Ferrat- and a lovely perspective of VilleFranche across the way. This stunning little gem of beachfront offers premier sun, swimming, and diving. It has a more remote and inherently private feel compared to it's neighboring beaches, plus all the amenities of a city beach: Massage, a restaurant with waterfront food and beverage service, accommodating lounge chairs & umbrellas, beer and wine (maybe even full bar?) service, and popular water activity rentals! Take a walk up the hill from the parking lot and venture along the trail for a memorable hike along rocky cliffs and the sea. You'll wrap around the entire "cap" and arrive at the port of St. Jean Cap Ferrat, where you can easily cut back through the port and village, pass the jardinerie and arrive back at Plage de Passable.

Are you looking for a comfortable, high end spot to enjoy an exquisite lunch on a secluded, beautiful beach overlooking the Mediterranean? Look no further. Plage de Passable has been a favorite of ours for many years for many reasons. First, the setting doesn't get much better than this. Second, the restaurant offers fresh, high quality seafood, pasta and pizza choices, and a variety of wine and cocktails. One of our favorites is to share the Caprese Salad and a pizza - the perfect duo to enjoy with rosé wine on a hot day. Third, Plage de Passable offers comfortable chaises and umbrellas for rent at reasonable prices. Only negative is that the restaurant's wifi is sorely in need of an upgrade given that the signal only reaches part of the restaurant. Overall, Plage de Passable offers many amenities and great food for a relaxing beach day.
