Lovely meeting folks, sitting on a bench, closing my eyes, enjoying the warmth of the sun, and only imagining what goings-on through history took place right here.
1975--- writer George Perec, October. Experiment took place right here, in which over a course of 3 days, he recorded "what happens when nothing happens except the passing of time, people, cars and clouds". I read excerpts of his translated "Tentative d'épuisement d'un lieu parisien".
