Have been to this business multiple times for dry cleaning and have not had many issues. Went recently to get some alterations. Was told the tailor would be coming from Prince Frederick as they do not have one in that locations at all times. The front signs are misleading stating "expert tailoring". Was told the tailor would be in during a certain window and when I arrived she was running late. Not ideal when you're on a time crunch. Would suggest going elsewhere if you need a tailor as this isn't the first time this has occurred at this business.... read more

I was pleased to find a dry cleaner near my home and adjacent to the Giant I shop at and happy with their work. However, their hours do NOT accommodate people who work normal schedules, open at 10 and close at 5. So I've been limited to Saturdays. Unfortunately twice recently I've gotten there to find a sign on the door that they're closed for whatever reason. I've had clothes there now for close to 3 weeks and can't get pick them up with them closed each time I've gone there. Clearly not aligned with the hours of professionals. read more

I had an appointment with Cathy this morning at 9am. I had to get up early, wrangle 2 girls, gather all of their items to try on their junior bridesmaids dresses to have them altered. I drove an hour. She didn't show up, call or anything. Extremely unreliable! If you are a busy person, don't waste your precious time! They are a no show! read more

Suit was supposed to be ready on Thursday. They said there was a problem with their truck and it would definitely be in Friday. On Friday when it did not arrive they said it was a problem with a machine. After 3rd attempt I finally picked it up and the suit was COVERED with lint. Definitely NOT recommended! read more

This place is horrible. I should've been smarter but I was in a rush. They refused to quote a price "because we outsource the tailoring" They charged my $81 for 9 total patches on 3 shirts (3 shoulder, 6 name tapes). When I told them I'd just as soon cut them off and walk away they threatened to call the cops. Horrible customer service, horrible pricing, blatant gouging. Took a few garments here after purchasing brand new folded in the box shirts. Needed them dry cleaned and pressed because they were wrinkled/creased in the packaging. Let's just say Phil was 110% disrespectful completely avoided the point that it was no way one of my shirts could have been burned before hand by me because they were brand new. He pretty much called me a liar, so I took my belongings and exited the story. I live in Lusby so this is the closest dry cleaning business for me. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere and I'll be certain to warn all of my co-workers and my Local employer Exelon generation about this experience. read more

STAY AWAY! This is a business that does not care about its customers or their clothing. I brought my suede jacket in to be cleaned due to a pen mark on one sleeve. Otherwise the jacket was in mint condition. P and K sent the jacket out to a 3rd party vendor (Mid-Atlantic Leather Care). When the jacket was not returned in the time promised, they just shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do and couldn't contact the vendor about timing. When the jacket came back and had been ruined, all the owner kept telling me at first was that Mid-Atlantic leather care was the service that everyone used in the area. Like this meant that they didn't ruin the jacket. The jacket was returned with a long stain across the left lapel of the jacket. The suede fabric all over the jacket had lost its shape and was covered in white fuzz. When I told the owner that the jacket had been ruined, he basically asked me to prove it and wanted to know if I had photos of the jacket before I gave it to them. To boot, he wanted me to pay him $60.00 for the "cleaning" of the jacket. No acknowledgement, no apologies, nothing. Just accused me of lying about what they did to my coat. When I asked him for his name he even refused to give me his last name. This guy is not a reputable businessman and you should avoid him and his dry cleaner. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! They quoted me one price at drop off, then at pick up I was told "sorry we told you the wrong price" and he would not give me my clothes until I paid the higher price. He was unapologetic and simply said I had no choice but to pay the higher amount. This seems fraudulent and a very poor business model! read more

Dropped a bridesmaid dress off on May 13th to be hemmed about two inches. Told it would take two weeks. Called the night before to confirm the dress would be ready the next day and was told it would be there the evening I called but to pick up the next morning. Get there when they open and they say come back at 3pm. Drop off ticket says the cost would be $45.00 but they charged $65.00. Were not friendly or apologetic by any means. I will NEVER recommend or use this cleaners again! Two weeks for a hem? Plus over charged. Horrible service read more

Worst business ever! I "knew" the owners husband Phillip through our kids playing football together and I've always dealt with him as she was never there when I went by. I recently went in with 2 king sized comforters. I was going to just buy 2 new ones but I thought maybe I should help out a local small business of someone I "knew" instead - if the price wasn't too much. The comforters were cheap $60 down alternative comforters so I specifically asked him if they could get the stains out (old blood stain on one and food stains on the other) he said "Absolutely! The people we send them to can get anything out!" I asked him how much and he said "King Comforters are $30 each", I again asked if he was sure they could remove them because that was half the price of a new one and he again said "Yes! But do you have another comforter to use because we send them out and it will take a week to get back!" I said "Yes, and thanks!" Fast forward to when its time to pick them up I send my husband to get them. He comes home and I notice these little cards inside that say something along the line of "this is to inform you we didn't overlook your stain but sometimes they cannot be removed!" I open up the comforter shocked to see it looks almost the same as when I took it in still with stains and there was now a large yellow stain also in the middle of the comforter that wasn't there before. I called and asked to speak to Phillip but he wasn't in so someone put me on the phone with his wife. I explained to her what was said and she said "He should've never told you that we could absolutely get them clean, we can't get every stain out!" She said "I cleaned them myself and it was the best I could do but I cant get old blood stains out or urine stains (there was NO urine) and if I use too much cleaner it will discolor the comforter", (I never mentioned the new yellow stain to her but I now know where that came from) She said "we wont be able to get any of those old stains out". I asked for a refund of half of what I paid because I felt that to be fair to both of us. She refused saying "I don't think that's fair at all because I put work into them, but if you want me to try to clean them again I will." I said "Well, I do think its fair, I put money out for them to be cleaned and you just said you cant get old stains out so I don't want to waste my time or yours" She said "I will have my husband call you tonight". I started looking into a dispute against them with my bank and realized they also overcharged me. Phillip never called so I finally went in there and he said the same stuff she did but about how they send them away and their cleaning people are usually very good but he was sorry. I said "according to your wife she cleaned them so you never actually sent them anywhere" and he said "well actually we do because she takes them from here to her cleaning facility and she actually did that twice" (come to find out her cleaning facility is another dry cleaning place in Prince Frederick she owns also) she cleans the comforters there and does not send them anywhere as they suggest. I again told him I felt at least a 50% refund was fair and he said "Sorry this is my wife's business and she isn't going to do that!" I also addressed how they overcharged me and he said "No, those comforters are $38 a piece" I said you quoted me $30, and he said "well I don't know why because right here on my screen it says they are $38." Therefore not only did HE lie about the cost, but he lied about their abilities to clean the items. I am SO disappointed that I allowed my generosity of wanting to help out a small business from someone I "knew" get in the way of what I knew I should've done all along and just bought new ones. I also wish I would've came here before and read the reviews about they also changed the price on someone else before. Very shady business practices! read more

I cannot recommend this cleaners. I brought almost $50 worth of cleaning to this establishment and explained that I needed it by FRIDAY morning. The woman at the counter clearly understood my need and wrote the date on my receipt, explaining I could pick it up after 10AM. I paid in advance and left believing I would have my cleaning on Friday. When I returned- NO CLEANING. We had an affair on Saturday and wanted to leave town to get there, but my husband needed his suit. The woman was so blase' about it. She didn't seem to care. I asked her what she was going to do about it and she just looked at me as if she couldn't hear me. She gave me NO response. I told her to call the cleaning service they used and to explain that we needed our cleaning and to let me know when it would be available. She seemed very ambivalent, but she agreed. She said they were open until 7 and would call me. All we could do was wait. I received a text at 6:00 saying our cleaning was available! Our whole day was wasted. I would never trust my clothing with them again. They are clearly unreliable and their customer service is terrible.Use them at your own risk. Note to the owners- Tailor, which means someone who sews, is not spelled TAYLOR. Should have been a clue to their professionalism. read more

Excellent customer service. They paid attention to, and remembered to address, several small issues I had on a lot of clothes I brought in. My clothes were ready for me when I came to pick them up, exactly on time. And they did not charge for one shirt on which the stain was set in. Overall, exactly how you would expect your dry cleaners to operate, plus a little added touch of personal concern. Great Business. read more
