My review is strictly based on my experience at the prescription counter/pharmacy section. The wait to get a prescription filled is oddly long regardless of what time or day you visit, having waited a half hour on more than 1 occasion with barely any customers present. They used to have great staff at the counter who were professional, and kind but now the staff has completely changed and they are rude and very unpleasant to deal with. Every single time I go I witness an unpleasant exchange of words between a staff member and a client, not acceptable. They have also made errors in entering my insurance information making me have to pay upfront and return for a refund after my insurance company confirms that my coverage is active, but staff incorrectly entered my birth date or coverage info, and then of course returning for the refund I got attitude from the staff member and no apology for their error. Tired of dreading going to pick up a prescription I finally switched pharmacies and what a difference. I've even called and left a message for the pharmacist when switching my families file to another pharmacy to speak to him about my concerns and as expected, never got a call back. Funny thing, when I called the nearby Uniprix to switch my file they automatically guessed which pharmacy I was transferring my file from, guess I am not the only one!

We were exhausted, and our car battery went dead in the parking lot after shopping. The gas station nearby wasn't of help, and we couldn't get a boost from anyone nearby. Couldn't reach our roadside assistance. When asking in the store if anyone could help, Christine jumped right in and offered her jumper cables and vehicle, and Pierre got our car going in no time. So kind and helpful, and something they didn't need to do at all. Really puts our faith back in humanity. People helping people. As it should be. Deeply appreciated.

When the clerk finally calls me again, the little basket not only has the proper prescription, but also the two bottles of generic which were prepared in error - she was going to give all 3 bottles to me! However, our child had throat surgery a month ago with pain that was not being resolved by the prescription from the the surgeon. As many of you are aware, getting in touch with a doctor directly is difficult at the best of times and surgeons even more difficult. The pharmacy staff helped us out by faxing a medication change request the evening of day 4. Then there was no reply the next day, the pharmacist both faxed and phoned the doctor's office. That day we were able to reach the surgeon's nurse who said they would contact the surgeon. By the end of day 5 (i.e. within 24 hours) we got a medication change request processed and delivered. We are *very grateful* for the staff who really came through in the crunch for us.
