3.5 stars, really. Our server was attentive and sweet, and the food was great, but took a long time. We got our appetizer after our meals, and the manager apologized. The bar was also backed up and slow at times, but our server kept us posted at all times, which was nice. Happy hour on a weekend/Friday was very busy, so arrive early and prepare to wait. Our server Nina is amazing, super attentive and friendly. Suggested cocktails and food choice. My Tator Shot tots were delicious they were a bit Spicey and she brought me ranch dressing to cool things off which made them even more yummy. Food was good, me and my husband sat at the bar it started good until our waitress Rachel just did not care for us AT ALL!!. we found ourselves calling her name multiple times to get her to come over, and at the end she rushed us because we wanted to order dessert which she did not even bother in asking if we wanted anything, we got so fed up that we took it to go. We left her like 10% of the bill as a tip but she truly need some training. First time to PJ Whelihan's and so far I'm not a fan. The place was crowded and loud, which is to be expected, but I mean REALLY loud. Again though, I expected it since it is a sports bar. What I didn't expect was the food and service. The service was horrible and the food was overpriced and bland. It took way too long for our food and it wasn't even hot when it arrived at our table. Then our waitress disappeared for half an hour. No lie, 30 minutes later she showed back up. At that point we just wanted the check and to get out of there. Good food and prompt service. Some of the best wings my husband has ever had. Great beer specials. Definitely a sports bar feel but still appropriate for kids. Friendly staff and even though they were very busy. Our wait time wasn't too long and once we were seated we were quickly waited on. Highly recommend this place! read more

My absolute favorite wing spot!! I was in the other night and my server Karina was a delight, super nice and very attentive. She recommended the sweet chili wings, which I loved! Best experience I ever had in a while! Our waitress Carley was one of the best waitresses I ever had! She refilled my water before I even got to finish my other ones and was on the ball the whole time. She was friendly, polite, and made sure we had the best experience possible. What's even more impressive is she told us she was fairly new and only waitresses part time.We aren't from the area so we did not know it was wing night and would have not of known if she refrained from explaining it to us. Needless to say, the wings were fantastic! Very impressed with not only Carley but the whole staff in general. They welcomed us in and out the door. I used to come here a lot last year and finally was back in the area with my boyfriend and decided to stop in for lunch. They have all the games on, plenty of tvs. Great beer selection, and awesome food. I ordered spinach dip because they have my favorite, but apparently they took it off the menu and our waitress didn't know that and had us wait 25 min for a dish that was never coming. After she told us we told her we would just take our entrees without an appetizer. I got chicken fingers and the famous fries (old bay fries) and the chicken was average but I loved the fries. My boyfriend got the JD Bacon Burger, he said it was good but he ordered it medium and it came out very well done and a little burnt. Needless to say, today they did not do so well. read more

Always a good meal. Service is typically friendly and fast. Nice beer list. Gets busy on weekend night but the wait usually isn't too bad. One issue, smoking section outside is right in front of main entrance. You walk through a cloud of smoke entering and leaving, and if you want to wait outside for your table you need to move away from the entrance. I see people waiting out in the parking lot to escape the smoke. Overall I am a fan of this location and visit it often. Good cheese steaks and buffalo chicken dip! read more

Not bad, but I'm a tough judge. I'm mostly vegetarian. Their honey grilled shrimp salad is really good. My husband says the wings are great.

I've been going to Pjs for a very long time. The last 2 visits have been below expectations. Both time my food was late at least 45 minutes on a non-busy day. Bartender probably forgot to submit my order and never bothered to check with me until I asked if my food was coming or not. First time I refused my meal and closed my tab...2nd time last night I accepted my food but they refused to comp the meal or even offer a discount. The manager did come over and check in, but I was already mad I had to rush to eat my food due to an event I was going too. Please fix your service read more

Went here for a retirement party. Had the fish tacos and a strawberry daiquiri. There were about 20 of us, and PJ's was very accommodating. All of the food looked great, the mixed drinks as well. The servers kept up with our drink refills, etc. will certainly be back. It was packed at lunch time, not including our party. I totally see why. read more

Stick to beers and wings. They have a good beer selection and the wings are solid (I tried my buddy's wings). I had the P.J. Whelihan burger and it was very disappointing. The burger and its bacon were clearly low quality. It's literally one of the worst burgers I have ever had. Additionally, the service at the bar was average at best. I don't care if an establishment is a chain or not. If they're good at what they do - great. Welihans has a nice environment. The open concept gives the place an even bigger feel than it already is. The bar area is separate but not isolated. The staff is very friendly from hostess to servers. And for what its worth - all very pretty. The beer selection is more than adequate and the food, quite good for the money. I found the wings to be larger and tastier than another "Wing chain" restaurant that opened in the valley recently - and they supposedly specialize in wings. Glad P.J. The food is horrible but the drinks are big and they are not selfish with the alcohol. However, the food is bad especially the SMOKED PORK SANDWICH. I ordered it once and I was sick for days, nausea and all. Everyone I know that ordered the SMOKED PORK SANDWICH felt the same as well. I don't often come here.. But we were in the area and thought we stop for a quick bite. Walked in and the host was not very friendly, she actually didn't even talk... We sit and wait about 7 minutes for our server to come over (couldn't tell you her name because she didn't great us with it) she was what you would normally call short and sweet with us just leave out the sweet.. Got our food in a timely manner. She literally just dropped the food and said need anything?.. as shes walking away. Crab cake sandwich is usually pretty good, but sure wasn't this time.. but I still ate it. Friend got wings as she always does when we go there, and she could only eat 2 because they were that bad. Server was actually cool about it after we tracked her down through 3 other servers to get her to tell her and fill my water.. Not terrible Iv been to worse, but iv been to WAY better... In Easton, PA for work right now. I am a wing lover so I've asked several locals and coworkers where the best wings are and everyone recommended this place. Including other restaurants!
