I kept it simple with a cheese pizza, and I'd definitely get it again if I'm on base. It's an easy walk, and the inside is huge with tons of seating. There's a small slots room, but not much else going on. They do have a bar, although it wasn't open when I visited. With the amount of space they have, it seems like they could easily host events -- not sure if they actually do. The staff were nice both times I went, which always makes a difference. The second time I stopped by was for lunch. My order came out with hardly any wait. It was hot, fresh, and really hit the spot. The portion was bigger than I expected -- I couldn't even finish it and had to take the rest with me. Overall, a solid option on base. I'd definitely go back.

We ordered a parrilla which included 5 different bbq meats, fries, and bread. OMG!! It was soon good!!! It had bbq chicken, pork, rib, and corn. The parrilla for 2 fed 4 people. That's how big it was. Pricing is average about 8-9 € per person including a drink. The restaurant has an indoor playground for children which is a plus, since food in Spain is really made to order the kiddos can play while waiting on your meal instead of driving you nuts and the table. This busy venue has both indoor and outside dining wrapping around the building. Delivery drivers were continuously grabbing take out meals for delivery throughout our visit. Some vegetarian/vegan options but nothing specifically for vegan diners. I ordered french fries, salad, and pizza (yeah, that's not vegan cheese). I'm not sure about other parts of Spain but I didn't find anything in Rota/Cadiz to be particularly friendly to vegan diners. Families filtered in and out for the evening after a long day on the beach to this restaurant which is located just one block up from the waterfront. Busiest from 7pm to 10pm, customers waiting to be seated formed a line near the restaurant entrance. Tables are easily pushed together for large groups. With a limited menu of soft drinks, juices, beers, and wine I had one draft beer and one Tinto de Verano (a bubbly citrus/red wine mix) which was very refreshing on a hot summer night. Very affordable, I had half a pizza to take home as well as the remaining half of the salad I finished the fries and two alcoholic beverages for 21 Euro. Generous portions of fried rice, burgers, and sandwiches were coming out to tables around me. Definitely check it out!
