Just grab a table if you find one open. The servers were working their butts off in this crowded street corner pizzeria and burger bar. The servers definitely deserve 5 stars for effort.
This busy venue has both indoor and outside dining wrapping around the building. Delivery drivers were continuously grabbing take out meals for delivery throughout our visit. Some vegetarian/vegan options but nothing specifically for vegan diners. I ordered french fries, salad, and pizza (yeah, that's not vegan cheese). I'm not sure about other parts of Spain but I didn't find anything in Rota/Cadiz to be particularly friendly to vegan diners.
Families filtered in and out for the evening after a long day on the beach to this restaurant which is located just one block up from the waterfront. Busiest from 7pm to 10pm, customers waiting to be seated formed a line near the restaurant entrance. Tables are easily pushed together for large groups.
With a limited menu of soft drinks, juices, beers, and wine I had one draft beer and one Tinto de Verano (a bubbly citrus/red wine mix) which was very refreshing on a hot summer night. Very affordable, I had half a pizza to take home as well as the remaining half of the salad I finished the fries and two alcoholic beverages for 21 Euro. Generous portions of fried rice, burgers, and sandwiches were coming out to tables around me.
Definitely check it out! read more
