The menu items seemed a little pricier than other places you might see but it is a bit of a swankier place. We came at lunch and they had a very pleasant blend of tasteful 80's music at a good loudness level. We came past lunch on a hot day so there were more servers here than patrons but thats ok by us. We ordered a soupa de lima and a risotto al vino blanco. We came in hot and the AC was mild so it took a little while for us to cool down. The food was only ok. The salsas fell kind of flat, like they could have added more salt. If you are into thick tortilla chils, their blue corn ones would be a trear, nice and crunchy. I like them more thin and crispy. The sooa de lime, their chicken lime soup, was kind of not that chickeny in the broth, the meat was shredded amd while generous somewhat dry. There was way more red bell pepper than I've seen before i soups like this and they saturated it with tortilla strips, which again could be great if you like those. I prefer them as just a few per bowl. It also was very light in lime, leaving it without the characteristic zing Ive come to love in this soup. Overall I would not recommend this soup. The risotto was basically a mushroom risotto, very appropriate textures though it seemed to have a bit more cheese than I expected. Still it was served at the right texture and thickness, and if you like mushroom risotto this wont blow your mind but its good for what it is. I'm not a risotto guy, my wife ordered that one. She said it wasnt bad but probably would not order it again. Overall this place seems like a great place for drinks, but given the price was high and the food wasnt even average for the area, we probably wont try it again until we've done most of the many other restaurants in the area.
