My husband and I were trying to find a nice meal earlier today. We walked by this place and it looked lovely. A group was just ordering outside. We went in and asked in half Spanish half Italian for a table. The man behind the bar turned us down and kept saying "full," even though there were plenty of open tables inside and out. My husband asked again and pointed out that there were plenty of open tables and the man claimed the kitchen is closed... but the group outside and a few other tables we could see around us were just ordering. I guess what we read about xenophobia in Verona is real! So gross... We walked by an hour and a half later and they were still serving and there were even new tables. read more
