We came for lunch at about 12:45pm and most of the table seemed to be reserved starting at 1:50pm. Our server squeezed us in however and was incredibly friendly and helpful (Daniel). Their pizzas have a nice thin crust, providing a near ideal ratio of crust-to-toppings in my opinion. The slices were light and we each had 2-3, so you could easily order one pizza per person if you wanted to take some leftovers with you. We especially enjoyed the gorgonzola and spinach pizza.

We've been to Colosseo many times when living in Germany from 2006-2011, and it was always outstanding... This was our first time back in over 15 years and it's still the same stellar pizzeria. There are some other Italian restaurants in town, but none are as good as Colosseo. The salads, pastas, and pizzas are all made fresh to order and there's no cutting of corners... The food is simply outstanding, along with the attentive and accommodating service, and the laid back atmosphere. My only suggestion is to either request to sit on the right side of the restaurant or on the front patio... They've added a kids play section on the back left side of the restaurant that can be rather annoying (unless you love screaming rug rats doing their best WWE impressions). If you're looking for an excellent Italian joint in GP, look no farther than Pizzeria Colosseo.
