Why five stars? It's simple. Their pizza is good, and there aren't many alternatives in the area. The service is rather rough, but polite. It is probably due to the specificity and style of this part of Kraków.
The restaurant inside is surprisingly very cozy and inviting. Recently, we ordered a mushroom pizza and decided to stay.
We were also tempted by beer with added raspberry syrup. I'm sure I've mentioned this before. It's like adding cola to red wine in Hungary--a classic, old-school practice. However, I recommend avoiding adding anything to your beer here. We've noticed a tendency for some restaurants to use inferior raspberry syrup. I don't know what it is, but this product makes the beer look unappetizingly cloudy. Yuk!
I have to admit, I probably eat too much pizza when I'm in Poland. Pizzeria Gusto is one of my go-to places when I'm in the area and need pizza for a larger group. read more
