So, today Dec. 13, 2017, when we went looking for it (as it was one of my favorite restaurants in Italy, after 26 times visiting here) -- we sadly found out that it closed last Summer. We almost reluctantly went to their other location on Via Palermo. We only went there because we were tired of walking, and wanted to give it a second chance (we'd been there before and knew it wasn't so great). But it massively disappointed again. Terrible pizza -- about 2 inches thick and only a triangular shaped piece, unlike the typical round pizza. Also the salad was MUCH smaller than at the original now-closed trattoria. I would stay away from this losing excuse for a Milanese trattoria-pizzeria. People who gave it a good review?? I can only be suspicious of their food tastes. Besides, there were very few specials, no pasta dishes, only some unappetizing risotto. Why did the other location close?? The whole world seems to be going haywire in these days of Trump and terrorism, so I guess a lot of great things are disappearing.

This place is amazingly delicious…read more First, this is truly some of the best pizza in Italy - not just in Milan. This is a true Neapolitan pizzeria and their Neapolitan pizzas are done right and authentically. They have all the classic choices including the marinara. We tried this place twice and both times were delicious - once we did take away and the other time we ate in. I'll talk about the eat in experience. We went on a Saturday around 1:30 pm. Some tables filled, but about half empty, so easy to get a seat. The waitress was strong-willed, but actually a very nice person. We ordered one margherita and one marinara, both with no oil and lightly done. She said no problem. We also ordered a cappuccino, which she thought was really odd. She said they don't have cappuccino at lunch time - either in the morning or in the late afternoon after lunch, but she made us one anyway. She was clearly amused with our foreign behavior, but not in a bad way. Our margherita and marinara pizzas both came out perfectly. The crust was spot on, the tomato sauce was one of the best flavors of sauce I've had, and on the margherita, the mozzarella blended perfectly into the dough and sauce. The marinara came with chunks of garlic and she gave us oregano and red pepper flakes on the side. We ate every last piece including all of the crust. Not burned at all, so soft, doughy, fluffy, and flavorful. Loved the pizza. The restaurant itself has both indoor and outdoor seating and has a clean, light feel. It is quaint, but nice. The guy who makes the pizza is really friendly and great, too. We talked both days - once when I did take away and I also chatted with him when we dined in as he was making our pizzas. The oven is right next to the door when you first walk in by the cash register. Our server was even nice enough to help us try to call a cab to the airport. She waited with us on the street. I will absolutely go back to this place again next time I'm in Milan and I highly recommend you give it a try.

It was a busy Sunday afternoon so the line took a while. When you get your food, you get a buzzer to know when to pick it up. Theres a lot of seating but it can be hard to find a table when it's busy. This place seems like a fast food place. It was a little bit more expensive than some other food you could possibly get in the area. The lasagna was 8€ and the pizza was 7.50€ for a large. (Reference: we went to anotherr pizza the night before and a whole was 16€) The serving sizes are huge and can be a lot so it might be good to start off small or share. Between the red lasagna and pesto lasagna, the red one was better. Overall, the lasagna was not as appetizing as expected. I don't think we would get it again. The pizza, on the other hand, was delicious. It was huge and fluffy and cheesy! They cut it in squares for you so it's easy to eat.
