So I started off with their carpaccio with truffle - deliciously thin, melt-in-your-mouth marbled beef, drizzled with fragrant and earthy truffle oil and the coup de grace: fresh truffle shaved onto it table-side by the waiter (don't stop, don't hold back, keep on shaving that 'shroom till it's gone!). Of course, that wasn't enough, so I followed this with a veal escallope in a rich smooth truffled cream sauce, again laden with fresh shaved truffle table-side. The dish came with a side of a simple risotto - which was a great way to sop up all that heavenly sauce. Service was excellent, attentive and unobtrusive - and really just a fine place for a satisfying meal!
