One of the best Italian pizzas that I've eaten. I found this pizzeria while jogging in the "countryside" and went the same day for the first time. Next day I was there with the whole group eating pizzas :-)
Pizza is very thin and moist, Gorgonzola has a very good flavour, just perfectly balanced with other ingredients including German speck that I took on both of my pizzas. Serving lady seems very strict and consrvative in a way but at the end of the day she had this foreign kind of funny in her that made all of it go away and I accepted that :-) What was pleasant for me is that they know they are good, they don't make a fuss about it but are not modest either. It's kind of like:
We came in and the cooks were eating and drinking.
- I asked: Konnen wir pizza bestellen? (it was 10:40 and they close at 11)
- She was like: Ja doch! (its a pizza place, no?) :-)
After ten minutes the pizza was there and it was perfect (not a piece of leftover ingredients from the whole day).
- When I was walking to pay, one of the cooks sitting asked: Gut? (don't bother answering I know it was good) :-)
- I was like: Ja freilich (what can I say, you're the man!)
Yeah, so don't miss this place, don't go to Joey's, got to Cento. I really recommend number 70. read more
