Schwan Mediterran Diner - Really nice decor! Large, with an awesome patio area as well.

You'll see the owner and his wife frequently (daily) putting in the grind right beside their employees. The waitresses and staff are friendly and have a solid command of several languages, a multi-lingual establishment. Parking outside is easily-assessable. Located in central Parsberg the restaurant is easy to locate and nearby other conveniences. The simple, efficient design gives a clean presentation. The menu items cater to both European and American palates. I have not had one item I disliked and I am a frequent, repeat customer. In particular, the bruschetta and nachos are delicious appetizers. The salad (Greek) and pizzas (especially the Sputafuco pizza for non-vegetarians/non-vegans) are delicious entrees. All the ingredients are personally selected by the owner to offer affordable menu options without compromising quality. It makes all the difference. The Scavi and Ray wines are outstanding, especially the moscato. Light, airy, just a touch dry, not too sweet or too bold. On Thursdays a buffet is available serving items like ribs, wings, bruschetta, caprese, vegetables, Creme Brûlée, etc. Occasionally, live music is available and soon the restaurant will also offer gelato! Give this restaurant a try, you won't be disappointed.

Considering they're still in their restaurant infancy, I'd venture to write they're making great strides and are extremely advanced for their age. Good location in the heart of Parsberg with a shared parking lot. No real sign out front yet as it's still a banner, but noticeable. Once inside you'll say to yourself, "Wow, this is really nice." It's large with great decor, clean and stylish, yet very casual. A very large bar and a dining patio that's very inviting. The menu is full of fan favorites, really good burgers, homemade pizzas and plenty of pasta dishes. The staff is nice, attentive and accommodating. I think it's safe to write they'll have many successful years ahead of them. I know I'll return again, and so should you. Cheers!

Unfortunately, for our last visit we only made it there once as we had just a 14 hour layover. We found this little gem by accident many years ago as we were coming back from a bike tour of the city and decided to give them a try as their selection seemed extensive and their prices seemed lower than many other places near the city center. I can't think of any bad visits that we have had here. The service is always friendly and the food is always great and plentiful. They have traditional German selections and also several Croatian dishes if you are feeling more adventurous. If you have never had the pleasure of Croatian food, you may want to give it a try. It is like a crossroads between Italian, Mediterranean and Turkish. The menu is page after page of endless choices as well as daily specials. Two of our favorites are the mixed grill and schnitzel. There are also pastas and pizzas on the menu which are also quite good. Several years back we had our six boys in Munich, several of whom were teenagers, and every single one found things they liked on the menu. If you're dining solo, as a couple or a family, it's the perfect place. You may want to call ahead or go during the off hours as they can get quite busy.

One ofus had a minute salat with some seafood, that might feed a mouse - the other had a mixed meat platter that would feet 2 people. And both at almost same price. The waiter was very friendly but a little hectick and he took ages to come and give us the check. Very touristy and rather crowded. The inside/outside thing is rather cool though - look yourself.
