Unfortunately the pizza was very basic tasting. Very little pizza sauce as you will see in my photos. Beware when you order: there are two locations in scarborough. So make sure you know which one you are placing your order at because they don't confirm the address over the phone. I have to say when I called, the staff was very rude. After calling and confirming if all their meat was halal, once I called back again to find out their other ingredients because the website does not list them, the man was very rude, impatient, and condescending. He kept insisting the deals on the website are not the same over the phone.... ??? No one asked about deals. I just wanted to know the toppings I could add Wtf Anyways, the nice thing about this place is that they are 100% Halal and the owner is open to improving on their service.

After contacting him three times, I haven't heard from him. Three years ago, I got two sad slices of pizza from this joint. Read my previous review. I basically got dry spinach, and a few dabs of tomatoes and feta on my pizza slices. Not yummy. Three years later, I got a message in my Yelp inbox. It was from Yousaf from Big Brothers Gourmet Pizza. He said that he wanted to make things right by offering a fresh pizza. It sounded too good to be true. It was. I wrote back to ask how I could get a fresh pizza on October 23. Crickets. I followed up on November 23. I still didn't get a response. I gave up and wrote on December 1st, saying that his gesture wasn't genuine. I'm finally writing my follow-up review here. It's one thing to make things right by offering a fresh pizza. It's another thing to ghost me and renege on your offer, which makes you and your business look unprofessional and unpolished. (488)

The gentleman that answered the phone asked where I wanted the pizza delivered, which is usually what they ask; or they ask for your phone number for verification. But measuring from his tone, I thought he was questioning the validity of my call because it was a US number. As soon as I replied, he hung up. So I called back. Still he denied my ability to make an order, so I did so online. My father felt compelled to call and assure them the order was in fact valid, as he is a regular customer who is recognized by his phone number when he calls. This upset me, as he just had heart surgery and should be resting. The pizza eventually arrived 26 minutes after they texted me that it was being delivered. The recipient of my call should have asked questions if he was in doubt. Not just hang up on me. That was incredibly rude and unprofessional!

We were visiting from Texas and have visited many LC locations. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and I got two pepperoni pizzas right away. I only have one complaint. I do not know if it is this location or all the locations in Canada but the hot and ready pizza was smaller than what we are used to. In Texas we get large $5 hot and ready. These seemed to be medium sized. At home when we get two large, we end up with a few pieces left over. We finished these two easily. So if you are traveling to Canada and want LC hot and ready, keep this in mind.
