The pizza is not that great. Delivery driver smashed my pizza and I had to scrape the cheese and toppings off part of the top of the box. They are on par with pizza hut taste wise. I've ordered here before and it was the same taste for the food. I prefer Alfano's in Spring Valley. I also like Rosati's in Ottawa if you don't mind the drive. My boyfriend says the beef rolls are good but he likes Sam's in Ottawa better. read more

I work at a major warehouse in the area and am only allowed a certain amount of time for lunch. To be fair I've goven them 4 chances for 4 separate lunches. 2 of the 4 were late and had totally missed the lunch window we're allowed. Normally this wouldn't be an issue but they require you to prepay when ordering online. So not only am I out the cost of the lunches Im also going without food for lunch. So needless to say not impressed at all. Coming from a local Italian guy, order Alfono's, they have yet to disappoint. read more

After looking for (delivered) pizzas here, I selected Pizza By Marchelloni. We had a large sausage, peperoni and mushroom pan pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ordering process was straightforward and we were clearly told how much and when it would arrive. The pizza came, hot, when promised (I realize that it's an estimated time), exactly as ordered. Oh, and was it tasty? Yes it was. I ate too much too. The cheese-sauce combination was delightful, the extra ingredients plentiful. The pie was thoroughly cooked and we were all impressed by the quantity of cheese, good cheese. Reasonably priced, although I am used to getting pizza in the city (Chicago), so my pricing expectations may be warped, I was quite happy with everything, all the way around. read more

The driver even had, plates, plastic silverware, shake cheese n peppers all wrapped up nicely in a plastic bag when she got to my hotel room. I started ordering from them when they opened in Peru, Il, there pizza had a great taste much better then other establishments. There mini meals and wings were also very good. We had ordered frequently until my health declined and stopped. There workers and delivery were fantastic, I had no complaints and highly recommended them. Last night I ordered there 3lb. pizza which was the very first pizza we ordered when they opened. However last night was very disappointing, the pizza, manager and the man answering the phone. When my order arrived my son and I both took 2 slices, I took a bite and it was dry I asked my son if he had sauce he said no, I then called them. I told them my pizza had no sauce the dough pulled up with the cheese and I would like my money back. The man put me on hold then stated his manager said he put sauce on it, I responded I have a picture that says different and says a thousand words my says no sauce money back. The man on the phone started laughing and hung up. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration states this is poor management, communication and unethical, yes I withdrew when my health went downhill however I had 10 classes left. Trying to contact the owner since it is supposed to be family owned will be impossible. However if they should be contacted my order was placed around 7:45pm and 8:00 pm on 7-20-20. After looking on Yelp for a pizza place for dinner during our outing from Starved Rock, we decided on this place. We saw that they had a 5-star review, but only a handful of reviews. We rolled the dice and ordered delivery from them to our hotel in Peru. We were from out-of-town staying the night. Most of the reviews were for their pan or deep-dish pizza, but we wanted thin crust. The pizza came in exactly 45 minutes like they promised and we were not disappointed. Very flavorful pizza with a nice thin crust. We got it with Italian sausage and green peppers. We were all hungry from our hiking trip at Starved Rock and this pizza hit the spot while staying in town. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. read more

In my opinion, this is the best pizza place in Mendota, IL. Pizza, cheese nuggets, chicken roll all taste great. Their are certain individuals that work their that make the place bettwr when they are on shift. Things like not forgetting extra sauces, special requesta and upright professionalism. Ordering food for delivery typically takes an hour, so you are better off just picking up your order. Great food keeps me coming back for more. read more

First time ordering and I can say I won't order again. For one everything was over cooked. They use roast beef sandwich meet for what they call a Italian Beef with no flavor. Also had the gyro roll and not sure what fake meat was in that. I absolutely love their pizza! The deep dish is more Detroit style than Chicago, but it is still tasty! I adore their thin crust! The ingredients are always fresh. You will be sorry if you don't try the nuggets too! Customer service could be improved but as we generally only get take out from here I don't think it is worth losing a star over. read more

Terrible service great food. Closing deleveries at 930 sometimes not even having delivery. Probably not the owners fault but young kids wanting to go home and not taking orders while their still open is ridiculous. I was given an estimated delivery time of 50 minutes and it was delivered in just over a half-hour. The pizza was so fresh and tasty, too! The pizza here is wonderful, however I have been unsatisfied by the customer service multiple times. Several times marinara sauce did not come included with cheese nuggets, and certain toppings were included when I have specifically asked for them to be excluded.
