They had an English menu as well, which was great since I don't speak Portuguese. We parked in the valet and were immediately sat when we walked in. They even let you pick your seat. The vibe of the restaurant is very old school Italian/ rustic. We ordered the bread basket and I ordered the pumpkin gnocchi for my main course. It was amazing; absolutely terrific. I wish I could eat it every day. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked and the flavor of the sauce was so delicious. They give you very big portions too so you could definitely share the meal with someone. I will make sure to come back here when I am back in the area! One of my favorite meals I had in Brazil.

The owner and chef, Adolfo, makes the experience so much awesome. I've eaten at Michelin rate restaurants in Paris and other parts of the world and this place it right up there too. Do try the steak tartare! Try all the specials! I have the duck confit (special) and it was cooked to 3 hrs of perfection. The wine selection is small but I hate going through pages of the wine list at most places anyway. I had a nice Chilean Cab and yeah I know some of the wine snobs may be shocked I didn't go with a white for my duck but I really don't care. Food was great, the small ambiance was delightful,service is top notch and Adolfo definitely has a passion for his food. Do yourself a favor and experience this gem when you're in town.
