If I could give this two-and-a-half stars I would as I was frankly a bit disappointed with our order last night. Tired and not finding any vouchers for the churn shop pizzas, I decided to call up Pizzaland, which used to be great.
When you 're spending $17 to $22 dollars on a big, fat pizza you want a good one, as on a good day you can pick up the cheapies for around 7 or 8 dollars (I prefer the big 'Aussie' solid numbers but the kids like the mass made varieties from the pizza chain stores). I say 'Aussie' because you don't get three centimetre high toppings in Italy, that's for sure.
We waited 45 minutes for our order, which seemed like a long time on a Wednesday night, but that was OK; what was disappointing was that although the pizzas looked really excellent only one of the three we ordered measured up taste-wise. The seafood pizza was probably not one we'd regularly order, but we found it bland unfortunately, as we did the Mediterranean, which just lacked a certain something. We probably will try again as it is our local, but hope they get the combinations honed and bring back the old flavours for our taste buds' sakes. read more
