Used to love it here. Honestly some of the best pizza in town. Love the unique pizzas and also the location with seating on the patio. However they have gotten away from table service. They want you to order at the counter and find a seat. (Totally fine) However when we asked for plates to share the large salads and a few different pizzas. They wanted us to use the top of the salad container and pizza boxes. Incredibly inconvenient. They also make only a limited amount of dough. So you can't bank on eating there because some days they sell out fairly early. Wouldn't have been a world ended but the staff also isn't the friendliest. I know some former staff and they said they were treated as such also. Oh well! read more

Omg!! This lace is a gem. The outdoor patio is great for those who like to eat outdoors. Inside it was a chill vibe. The pizza was excellent. We had chicken Alfredo pizza with jalapeños. The wine was great and our waitress Ashley was so friendly and courteous. FYI- they will serve pizzas as long as they have dough left. When the dough runs out they will close. Excellent pick for a local spot. The food was great. I was pleasantly surprised by the pickle bacon ranch pizza. I took a leap wanting something different than the average slice and I was not let down. Also, the lava bread was excellent. The flavors were great. The floor inside the restaurant was covered in leaves. It's fall and I assumed the door was open earlier in the day to get some cool fall air in but they should have swept up at some point. The tea was not good. Not the worse iced tea I have had but I won't order it again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Get a soda and enjoy the pizza. read more

Seriously... the pizza is amazing! I am not a person who eats the crust, but there was nothing left when the hubs and I were done. I read about the use of block cheese versus the bought shredded. a few years ago, and I am extremely happy Pizza Underground grates fresh daily. The lava bread was exquisite, and the combo of the Pickle bacon ranch tastes just like a burger somehow. The service was excellent, and we loved the old-fashioned lighting. The prices are great for the quality of food and service provided. I don't usually visit the same restaurant twice cause there is always a new place to try... but I will visit this establishment again as you should! read more

Came on a Sunday for dinner and sat by myself on their patio. The patio is spacious and tastefully decorated and it paired perfectly with a beautiful August night. They happened to be having a special for dinner which was their jalapeño popper pizza. It tased delicious and the wood-fired crust was done to perfection. While I can't review the pizza yet, I did come in for a salad to go for lunch and it was yummy. At first I was a bit surprised at the cost of "just a salad" but it was huge and fresh and yummy. If I wasn't a pig, I could have turned it into two meals, but I was taught to finish my plate so... More than that, though, was the friendliness of the owners and the warm, inviting atmosphere of the place. It just sort of welcomes you in and begs you to stay a while. They were super short staffed that day, but you wouldn't have known it. They were so nice! What a GREAT place for dinner! My first time there, our daughter and her family wanted to meet there to celebrate a birthday. Taylor our server, and Zoee who backed her up were absolutely wonderful! They were cheerful, professional and on point, so unlike most young servers these days. The place has a great vibe, it was Friday and the place was . The staff looked happy to be there, the energy of the place was happy, upbeat and welcoming. But the real star here is the pizza!! You can watch the chef make it right in front if you and it is A+++. The dough is hand stretched, chewy, cooked perfectly and had delicious ingredients. We also had a fantastic cesar salad and an incredible cheesy garlic bread. What made it so good was the bread they covered in a delicious, stretchy mozzarella. A wonderful dinner all around, definitely A++++ experience! Another good find while on my motoring around the country. Fresh thin crust. Smaller menu, but done right. Suggest you ask about and try their monthly special. For September it's a breakfast pizza with over easy eggs, bacon and hash browns. Was going to try, but opted for the 'lighter' margarita instead. Decent selection of beers by the bottle, but all are from domestic large brewers (no local or craft beers). Only reason for loss of star. Staff friendly and engaging. Will probably be back yet this weekend. read more

I picked up a pizza with my wife to eat at the park. The restaurant was busy, and looked nice. The pizza was perfect in every way. We got the 'Lots of Toppings'. The veggies were fresh, not canned mushrooms. The meats had an excellent flavor and spice. I thought the sauce tasted homemade, not too sweet. The mozzarella cheese was nice and thick. We got the honey sriracha chicken pizza, and were left completely indifferent. Chicken tasted like the frozen chicken with rib meat from Walmart, undercarriage thin and soft, bordering on soggy, and half was the pizza was crust, which was really good crust to be fair. The honey sriracha sauce was great, but sparse, and left you wishing that there was a lot more of it and that it was mixed together better. Overall just average pizza when put in perspective with the 20$ price tag. read more

No tv's, no loud music, amber lighting, you can't not love this place upon walking in! Even had gluten-free options for my celiac wife which is hard to find in this town. We had a weird experience here. We've heard good things about their pizza and stopped by around 6:45. Seating is limited and we were told there would be a 20-25 minute wait, so after briefly deliberating about whether to just head somewhere else instead of waiting, we got our names put on the list and went next door for a glass of wine. When we returned 15 minutes later, a table had turned over and another party had been seated ahead of us. This wouldn't be a big deal, but the host (different than the first person we talked to) told us they were completely out of pizza dough and couldn't serve us. I'm confused as to how they couldn't have predicted this would happen only 15 minutes earlier. If they'd been open about the fact that they were about to sell out for the night, we would've just gone elsewhere instead of waiting around only to be skipped over then turned away. I don't know if the pizza is as good as we've heard or not, but the customer service and communication definitely left something to be desired. read more

Never been to a more pretentious joint. By underground they mean overpriced and snobbish. $20 bucks for a 12 inch pizza and don't even think about ordering one with a topping on half the pie. Evidentially the "pizza man" can't keep orders strait so their policy won't allow for it. The funny thing is, the "pizza guy" doesn't know how to hand toss the dough either, the middle of the pizza is to thin to support the toppings and the outer edge is literally 20 times thicker and deformed because of the poor stretching. The sauce is probably homemade but really all that means is canned crushed tomatoes ran through a food processor with nothing I could detect from seasoning. The side of "marinara" for the bread bowl of cheese better know as breadsticks literally tasted like crushed tomatoes and raw garlic, absolutely no depth to this sauce. As far as the ambiance they are too cheap to pay for air conditioning so people would rather sit outside on patio which you might as well because the store front has its doors open and the music is so loud inside it will run you out anyway. Interestingly enough the fire Marshall would have a problem with them having locked exterior patio doors during business hours. $50 cake for two small pizzas and horrid cheese bread that were not near the cost. So sick of businesses expecting high prices and delivering a weak product and this place takes the cake. read more
