Once I got to the parking lot I felt like I'd been here years before. I didn't have a review if I did, so I either didn't come or didn't review, which I have done in the past if I didn't want to leave a negative review. Now I'm just honest, no matter how it looks. Well that went right out the window! The menu showed different, more expensive prices. My $22 meal was now $33 before discount! I paid but did ask. Rasini said he thought the website was ran by slice, and maybe they absorbed the difference in price. After touching the tablet he (and maybe I didn't see him sanitize bc he def didn't wash) proceeded to touch and cut up my garlic bread without gloves. If you know me you know how I feel about this. Anyway. He said I had the discount for next time and that I'd definitely be back. I leave hopeful. Cheese sticks are pretty tasty, but in my experience those are hard to botch. The sauce was not bad. Not the best or worst but ok. I ordered the baked ziti w sausage. I was excited to eat it. Sadly I was disappointed. It fell flat on its face. I have a thing about paying for food I make better at home. This was that. The pasta was flat and flavorless and the sauce severely lacked flavor. The sausage and cheese was the best part. Now I have flat pasta and sauce and no sausage and cheese left. I'm going to grab sausage and liven it up. I should've just grabbed the sausage and made my own like I was going to, but I got tired and the price seemed right. Everything's gone up in price, I don't mind paying for quality, but this wasn't that. Given the circumstances around it, and the fact that I was only ok with the cheese sticks and now have to liven this up, I'm good on getting to use that coupon. Lol. I was only able to eat 2 slices of the Drunken Ricotta and had to stuff it all in the 12" box. Luckily it fits nicely on top of my backpack under the seat. I knew I liked the Irish slice but I wanted to try something new. The Drunken Ricotta was okay. It supposedly has vodka sauce, hence the name, but I couldn't really taste the sauce. I think there was a little too much going on and with all those flavors battling for attention: pesto, ricotta, sauce, parmesan, mozzarella... none of them really stood out and was a little salty for my taste to boot. Boy did I make the right choice I went in and was greeted by 2 kids playing monopoly. The lady that greeted me was the owner. Super friendly. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and garlic knots (homemade ranch dressing for dipping). It took about 10 minutes and I was ready to eat. The pizza was outstanding. The crust was fresh and tasty. The sauce was great, and I could actually taste it because the crust wasn't filled with salt and other nonsense. The garlic knots were really good. The homemade ranch was outstanding. If I lived in Nevada I would probably be here all the time. I now have a new place to eat when in the Henderson area.
