By default they cook the beef medium, unless you ask otherwise. And for some reason they expect you to have it medium so they won't ask how you'd like your meet cooked! I prefer medium well, it was ever so slightly over cooked, despite the waitress claims. The meet is good, however it needs plenty more seasoning, so the flavour of the burger won't easily wash away! The restaurant is really relaxed, nice hipster ambiance, kind of more of a café feel, so don't worry too much about dressing up!

It was really nice all the same. The fish was perfectly cooked and the pommes anna was a perfect accompaniment. The pub's decor probably didn't quite match the quality of the food and I think some people will be surprised how good the food it. The was a really good range on the menu from unusual items (I'd never had samphire before) to regular items such as burgers and fish and chips. While we have only ever brought our children for breakfast or lunch the staff were super accommodating every time. While trying to find a burger on the menu to recommend it occurs to us that we have tried almost every burger, taco, or side and all of them have been delicious! Simply said, it is our go-to restaurant in Yeovil. Almost forgot to mention they have many ciders to chose from!
