There are a few restaurants in this quaint little town and after looking around we decided on this little Italian restaurant. We were seated right away and they weren't that busy yet. I took a chance and ordered their special the plat du jour (veal with mushroom sauce) and my husband had the linguine carbonara. After we put in our order they got super busy. Our dishes were really good (I stole a few bites of my husband's carbonara). Carbonara: the noodles were fresh tasting and the bacon had a nice flavor to it. Plat du Jour: it was delicious and it came with a side of gnocchi with marinara sauce. Wish I had ordered a glass of their local wine with my lunch.

The Wi-Fi was handy since I had my smartphone, but the food from one of the basic menus was heavy and average-tasting. I tried the salad, lasagna bolognese, and tiramisu. I could only eat half of the lasagna, so they plastic-wrapped the rest and gave it to me in a huge box. The tiramisu was okay and topped with lots of strawberries. The service was good and I enjoyed sitting outdoors. I'm not sure why I ate here instead of a French restaurant, especially since I had just come from visiting Italy. I probably wouldn't go back--I'd try one of the many other restaurants that Blois has to offer.
