The dough is old. They drop the wings on the floor and still serve them. They burn the food. They serve pizza with hair.

This is the best Italian restaurant I've been to in the 956! The place doesn't look like much when…read moreyou walk in, but the food was fantastic!! I ordered a glass of the house Chianti and was very surprised at how good it was. I ended up ordering a liter for the table. I had the minestrone soup and the flavor was bold and amazing! My GF opted for a house salad and it was pretty good. She decided to go with the chicken fettuccine as her entrée and was quite delicious. The sauce was not too thick but had tons of flavor. I decided to go with the linguine scampi with shrimp and a lemon butter sauce and this was 10/10 amazing! I finished the whole plate and used the house bread to mop up the left over sauce! The bread tasted fresh and airy. The staff was friendly and like I said the environment didn't scream Italy but none of that matters when compared to how good the food is. I would have eaten this food in the alley, it was sooo good! This place is definitely a hidden gem and I can't wait to go back there and try other items on their menu!

We started off with some bread (it's free), it was fresh and delicious. We asked for the calamari as an appetizer, it was great. We also tried the shrimp scampi & chicken piccata, both were amazing and came with a choice of salad or soup. We also got some cheesecake, it was my favorite dish, and a great way to end this flavorful experience. Will be coming back!

Came here because of the good reviews and the nice small-business vibe. The place appears to be…read morefamily run. We started with the fried mozzarella, and the moment I saw them I knew exactly what was coming with the entrees. Straight from the Sysco truck. They are charging $9 for five, and they tasted exactly how you'd expect, premade and nothing special. Then the entrees came out. Alfredo and lasagna. I didn't like either of them. Honestly, whatever. I guess I fell victim again to another small business dump. Then I go to pay. They don't do real receipts, everything is handwritten, so I didn't even know the total until it was time to pay. It came out to $46, which seemed off, but I brushed it off and paid. It kept bothering me though because I don't like being taken advantage of, so I went back and asked for a price breakdown. I was met with a very defensive and rude manager who was completely unhelpful. She told me the salads we were offered, which I did not order, cost extra because they were Caesar salads. Mind you, I wasn't even going to order a salad. The waitress told me it came with the entree. No upcharge was mentioned when I ordered, so of course I assumed it was included with the meal. Apparently not. The manager told me it was listed on the menu and that it was my fault for not reading it more carefully. She refused to refund the salads because I had already eaten them. When I asked for my tip back, she said no to that too. I'm sorry... the tip I added on top voluntarily? Eventually she did give the tip back, but only after arguing about it. Needless to say, I will be disputing this charge with my bank. I do not pay for things that were offered or promoted as free. Take your money somewhere else. Go to the Cheesecake Factory or literally anywhere else. Don't waste your time here. Small businesses like this are exactly why people stop supporting them.
