Deciding to dine at a late lunch at the Pizza Hut, Italian bistro was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant was very clean very empty. We were the only people dining inside. We ordered cheesy breadsticks and two Italian melts. We received our food within 15 minutes. Everything tasted hot and fresh and really delicious. The gentleman that seated us was so kind and our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. I used to come here all the time many years ago. It was always packed. Really consider giving this place ago if you're looking for a quiet place to study and enjoy a simple meal. We'll be back. read more

"The Day I Said Goodbye to Pizza Hut" There's something eerie about walking into a place that time has clearly abandoned. From the moment I stepped through the doors of this forgotten Pizza Hut, I knew something was off. The air was stale, heavy with memories and microwave grease. Not a single customer in sight. Just me, and the ghosts of family dinners and Book It! coupons. Then came the sound--or rather, the vibration. A low, mechanical hum from the A/C system so loud it felt like it was shaking the foundation. I wasn't sure if it was trying to cool the room or warn me to leave. The kind of sound that gets into your teeth and makes you question your life choices. I stood there for a minute, soaking in the empty booths, faded posters, and a silence so thick you could cut it with a breadstick. No greetings, no smells of fresh pizza, just the overwhelming sense that this place was holding on by a thread--and had stopped trying a long time ago. Eventually, I turned around and walked out. Not angry, not disappointed--just sad. Some places don't die all at once. They fade, one flickering fluorescent bulb at a time. This was no longer the Pizza Hut of my childhood. This place never seems to draw a crowd, now that it no longer offers buffet lunches. I've been here twice this year alone and it's been very nice both times, both for ambiance and food selection. Both times I had a pizza. My second time there was last night, around 7:30pm. I was treating a friend to a birthday meal and he chose this place because the first time we were here, the pizza we had (vegetarian lover's), service and ambiance were all very good. AND it was quiet enough to have a conversation without screaming at each other. The server was already vacuuming and flipping the center tables when we walked in, even though the closing time is 10pm. I understand wanting to prep the restaurant early for closing when there are no customers; that didn't bother me. It was a Monday and Mondays are notoriously slow days in the restaurant business. She immediately stopped vacuuming when we walked in and didn't vacuum again until we were ready to leave an hour later, and I thank her for that. Who wants to listen to a loud vacuum nearby while eating dinner? She was a very good server who knew how to wait on us without being a helicopter server. We had a medium sausage thin crust pizza. It was loaded with little balls of Italian sausage. I had a side salad, my friend had a Shiner Bock's beer. The bill was just under $20. read more

I went with a party of 3 for a quick lunch. This was my first time to a Pizza Hut Bistro. I was immediately impressed by the clean bathrooms (ceramic tiles). The decor had a very warm and slightly artistic feel. The large windows also added a really open feel. The food was okay for a bistro style establishment. We ordered off of the bistro menu and though the food was filling, I could not get over the fast food taste. The "bistro" pizza was underseasoned, definitly not fresh made, and left the typical awkward oily and preservative after taste. The service for a pizza bistro only 60 percent full on a weekday lunch also had much to be desired. It took us 25 minutes to get our pizzas to us, which suggests a slow kitchen. Our waitress was okay though. Simply put if you expect to get "bistro" quality this is not your place. It is a filling lunch though. read more

Our Hostess was amazing and super nice! Service and food was delicious. I had the Pasta Florentine. The hubby had the Rustic and our Mini, her Pepperoni Pizza. The facility was clean. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is, because the Staff had to start vacuum cleaning the main restaurant part! I never got my senior discount, simple math, management argued with me and said I did. Rude, management, I was told I got the discount on the pizza, the pizza was 9.99 a special price they had so that's also suppose to be part of my senior discount? Super crazy .... It's the price they offered at the time. Get with the program guys. Good way to lose customers, when the place never seems very busy to begin with. Business management and math classes are in order. I will say the pizza was delicious though. Customers aren't always right but in this case I was dead on right. I wish Pizza Hut much success but management needs to be monitored better. Recently contacted the proprietor, John Elam, to arrange a catering order. His expertise and advise were invaluable, the order itself was delivered swiftly and the food was devoured by all. Quick, simple, professional and delicious; can't beat it. Very pleased. As for the restaurant portion, it's Pizza Hut BISTRO, okay? It's very fancy. Well, no, but it's very nice; with an expanded dining menu full of surprisingly tasty salads, pastas and artisan pizza. They even serve some respectable wines. And I'm told the Italian Nachos are amazing, but I've yet to commit to the calories. The service, over the last eight years, has always been great. Consistency is hard for a restaurant and Pizza Hut Bistro delivers- literally. Although I have not utilized their delivery service, the taste and quality of the food here is above most expectations. I have only been here three or four times, however, each time the food was tasty and the service was sufficient. The thing that strikes me is how the food does not have that out-of-the-can defrosted and re-heated taste. The pizzas and pastas are tasty, filling, and reasonably priced. If you have yet to try, or are put off by the name, give them a chance as this restaurant is how all chains should aspire to be: Consistently meeting hunger needs without denting the wallet. This is a definite change from your typical takeout Pizza hut or old style dine in. This is a Pizza Hut Bistro, for real. You get a nice dining in experience with a whole added "bistro" menu. Along with WingStreet and their Normal Pizza's they have lots of specialty pizzas and pasta's. My favorite thing though would be WingStreet. They have some Awesome honey bbq wings which they can do bone-in or bone-out. We normally grab these and take them to the Park or back to the house! The only thing holding back 5 stars would be the price and service. If you sit down with your family of four, expect to spend $40-60. Pizza Hut Bistro has some of the best pasta in town. I've gone here about half a dozen times and everytime has been wonderful. They have very tastey and hardy salads that will fill you up. I'm not a fan of Pizza Hut's pizza so always order their pastas and salads. I love their Tuscani Tuesdays too! I call ahead, have them cook up the two pastas and it's so convenient since this place has a drive through window, I just pick up dinner on the way home. Pizza Hut Bistro? Whhaaaat!? Yep, that was my inital thought when we drove by. Well, my curiousity dragged us in to try it. When we walked in, I was surprised to be greeted by a hostess and seated at a table and handed menus. Fancy. lol. After scoping the menu, we decided on cheesy garlic bread, spaghetti carbonara, and a philly steak bistro pizza. We chose everything off the bistro menu, but they still had the standard Pizza Hut offerings if you desire. Also, they serve beer and wine. Food was good. They came out plated nicely and the waiter even had the cheese grater in hand to top off your pasta/pizza when it was brought out. I couldn't stop smiling because I couldn't get over the fact that it was a Pizza Hut. lol. The pasta was good. The sauce wasn't too salty and the bacon bits added good flavor. The pizza was thin crust and light but could've been cooked a bit longer because we like our pizza crispy. We both enjoyed our meal nonetheless. Food was good, service was good and I had a good time with the whole experience. I would consider it again for my visits to Fort Huachuca as it is a straight shot down the street from base. I've been to Pizza Hut when it was so crowded, that everyone was sweating buckets all over the place at the take-out area. Even us customers! Sadly, Sierra Vista doesn't have any real stock of Italian restaurants, so this is the best you're gonna get (until such a place opens). Their food is great, especially the alfredo pasta. The employees are always working hard and maintaining a great attitude, no matter how busy it is out there. Do yourself favor, bake your pizza at home. I placed an order at this restaurant two weeks ago. I spoke with the supervisor, Andrew, who advised me that I would have a credit of $50 under my phone number. I placed an order hoping to use the credit but the credit was not showing under my number. I called the store and was on hold 15 min, my issue was not resolved. I eventually hung up because I was on hold. I was told initially that i was lying and there was no credit. I recognized his voice and advised him that he was indeed the person I spoke with. Upon call back from Andrew, he found the credit was applied under the incorrect number. For some reason that credit couldn't be applied to my newest order so he would credit my new order $45. No, absolutely not, my credit is for $50. He then gets snappy and comments 'gosh I'll just add the $5 since is a big deal.' You darn right it is abs better yet cancel the order. I will not eat from an establishment in which a simple conversation results into an argument. And it's a franchise so there's no owner. Hubby and I chose this place for this week's date night, and I was happy with the service and the food. I'm only judging on my one visit, so I can't say anything for consistency, but tonight's meal was tasty and reasonably priced. I had the bacon florentine "bistro" pizza and the jalapeno poppers for an appetizer. The poppers are under some other name on the menu, but they really are just poppers. Both my dishes tasted great. The pizza was very rich with real slices of bacon and alfredo sauce instead of regular pizza sauce. The ambiance is nice here. We were there at sunset and the employees were kind enough to close the blinds without us asking so we weren't squinting in the late afternoon sun. Our server, Ashley, did a good job. We did wait a little bit to get our check. I will definitely return and I hope my second visit is as enjoyable as my first. EDIT: I visited a second time and had to knock off a star. The food was good, but we had to wait for our check again, and our glasses were empty for most of our meal. Okay...where do i start at the arrival...Arrived and had to wait 5 minutes to be seated, why the hostess was eating. Once seated the waitress looked stressed the hell out. There were approximately 30 people and only 1 waitress, so after 10 minutes of looking out the window, i knew deep down inside we should leave. She finally made it over took our drink order and disappeared for another 10 minutes. When she came back we ordered everything. 15 Minutes later our order came, we ordered wings naked and a pizza. Well we started looking at the wings and asked the manager who was now waiting tables if we could get a side of ranch or blue cheese. He response was that will be .79 cents. Huh...never had wings without something to dip them in, even though i rarely do. I was just shaking my head saying to myself this is bad...this is bad. By now my tea was empty and i had it sitting on the edge of the table waiting for a refill. While i was getting more and more parched the manager and waitress were just walking by us and still an empty glass. Yes I know, it's Pizza Hut, but it's kind of an upscale Pizza Hut. The environment is nicer inside and there are more items on the menu like different pastas and salads and desserts-which is why I went in the first place. For some reason, I was hankering for Spaghetti Carbonara. I was pleased to see this on the menu, and while I didn't love it, it was good and satisfied the craving. Service was great and attentive. At what point do you stop trying to close early? I mean I get it, it's slow. But, when it's no longer slow at 730 on a Sunday night and you have sent folks home early. You choose to ignore groups of people coming in because you are trying to close. I really don't get it. Do you even actually have the option to close early? Now my server when I got one was good. Great customer service! Have always gotten perfect orders from them, but tonight our pizza was as thin as a penny (we ordered regular crust) and it wasn't cut. We called and they apologized and offered to send us a new pizza. We received a new pizza with in 20 minutes and it was perfect and hot! They also added $5 to our account for the inconvenience. I understand nights can get hectic and may not have been anyone's fault but they handled the situation wonderfully and we will of course continue to order from them! 5 stars all around! read more
