This place won't just make you love their wings, it will make you appreciate the craft of cooking…read morewings. Wings are like sushi. It's a simple food that reflects the care given to each aspect of its preparation. The main hot sauce has that special level of tang that makes you want to take another bite. As for the bake, the skin is crispy, part of the restaurant's made-to-order nature. That does mean you need to call a good deal of time ahead, so plan ahead. I have seen some reviewers complain that the wings are not jumbo-sized. If you want the most meat possible, get some fried chicken and dip it in hot sauce. I won't judge. If you want great wings, the smaller ones are better. This improves the sauce, skin, and meat ratios, creating a dense flavor experience. The menu has a focused but diverse selection of sauces, but I haven't been able to pull myself away from that main hot sauce to try them yet. As with the hot sauces, there is a focused selection of simple yet well-thought-out side dishes. A friend of mine got the chicken wrap and was able to get the jerk seasoning added to it. I'm looking forward to grabbing the BBQ Ranch Fries next time I go. If I had one suggestion, it would be for them to make their own blue cheese dressing. These wings deserve the best accompaniment.

It's a humble little town about an hour and a half away from New Orleans. Since Britney's Grandma no longer has a crawfish restaurant we decided to stop at this chicken/seafood place to try a little taste of Kentwood. This was some of the best fried chicken we have ever had-- PERIOD. So tender, so juicy and perfectly seasoned. There's 2 types of Cajun seasoning on every table in the restaurant as well. Both are great but a bit salty. 10/10. Also, Britney's childhood home is selling at bargain price of only 1.2 million. *Sips tea*

The food is just ok in my opinion. We got wings and cheese sticks. I was not a big fan of the cheese sticks and the wings were fried too hard. The fries were fried hard as well. They have basic sauces and some random sauces as well. My husband liked the Cajun wing sauce as it had a kick to it. The spicy tiger is ok but I think it's a popular sauce here. They also have a bar but the drinks were also just ok. This place is really just ok if your down this way and want wings not something I would go out of my way for.

I want to preface my statements by saying that I have never been a big chicken‑tenders person. But when I bit into a Magoo's chicken tender, I truly thought I had died and gone to Chicken Tender Heaven. It was that good. I wasn't expecting much because my family had visited a number of times, and they had pumped it up so much that I wondered whether Magoo's could live up to expectations. But I have to say that Magoo's more than lived up to expectations. Run, don't walk, to Magoo's. I am now praying for a franchise to come to the Memphis area.

We decided to try Huey Magoo's, the building looked clean and fresh. The staff was friendly and service was fast, but that is about the only positives I can give. The bread is small and just terrible. My kid said it best... looks like fake bread and was chewing air. The chicken strips are unevenly cooked. Some were just burned to a crisp. The fries are terrible. Tasted like pure potatoes, but uncooked potatoes. The sauce is way too thick and does not have a good flavor. The sauce had an underlying pickle flavor, which in my opinion does not go well with the meal. We ordered a 4 pc and an 8pc meal and it was $36. An absolute rip off!! I don't think I've been disappointed in a meal like this in quite some time.
