Before we even order water and corn chips with a spicy dip is brought to the table. We are celebrating a belated birthday with a gift voucher. As this is a new restaurant there is a promotional period and we are fortunate to tap into it. Nevertheless the waitress and the owner are happy to treat us to their best. This is not just the food but the service and the little touches that encourage people to come back. The starters is quite large, share between two or even more. The main meals are huge and we had to ask for a doggy bag as they were so good and we couldn't just leave them. We had coffee at the end of the meal...ok it was lunchtime...a glass of wine or a Mexican beer would have been nice...but we were driving and the weather was terrible. Let's be safe this time! There will be another time..especially as this little gem is open of a night. Well, out came our coffees and so did two chocolate churros! Wow! Complimentary. So yummy!!! The place is small, there is no parking other than the back streets but it is a place to go to again.

A burger will cost you anywhere from $7.40 (for a classic Harvey burger) to $9.90 (for the Double Decker). Add $3.80 onto the price and you've got yourself a meal. Sure, it's a little more expensive than McDonalds, but the quality and serving sizes are far superior to that of any fast-food joint. Service at Lashings is always prompt, but frantic. By Saturday afternoon, the place is packed with dozens of sore heads trying to recover from the night before. Despite this, service is still pretty fast. Not McDonald's fast, but made-to-order fast. Waited under just under 10 mins for our meal which i thought was reasonable seeing how busy they were. Food was actually pretty tasty, i have seen mixed reviews about this place but it did not disappoint for me. Staff are friendly too. Overall, good first time visit.

I've had the American Dream wrap at the MLC centre and that was massive! The queue too during lunch but have had smaller versions elsewhere. Seems it's inconsistent across the chain.
