My friends and I popped in here for lunch yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. We were seated…read moreright away by a friendly waitress and attended to by an equally friendly bartender. One friend got a beer flight and I got an espresso martini. He seemed pleased with his beer and I thoroughly enjoyed my martini - A+ there. As we got there technically a few minutes before formal open, the kitchen was still getting spun up so the food took a couple extra minutes, but not a crazy amount of time. My one friend and I got the Nashville chicken sandwich - his with chips, mine with fries. He said his was great. Mine was good, but it was hard to discern the flavor given the heat level. Now, I'm not opposed to heat and have an OK tolerance for it, it does tend to overpower things. In this case, my eyes were watering a little but I wasn't dying by any means. Still though, it was hard to pick up the flavor after the first couple bites. Until that point though, it was pretty good. Tender chicken though some tendons still in there for a couple stringy bites. Coleslaw was good but not enough to get that crunch and flavor that I'd like to get out of it. The chips were OK - a bit dry and not really any flavor. The fries were solid, more Wendy's style if I had to compare. The pickles though, oh man. I'm not a big fan of dill pickles normally but WOW. A little heat, a little dill, a little tang, and thick sliced. The star of the plate by far. Lastly, my other friend got the stuffed banana pepper mac and cheese, which he gave two thumbs up. The vibe overall was cool. Some TVs, cool looking inside, nice looking bar stocked with a lot of Steelbound bottlings (need to get some of that rum!). Overall, zero complaints here and while not Michelin star worthy, I would definitely come back here.

I think she might have been cooking too. With the number of patrons waiting for food and the fact there were 2 in my party it shouldn't have taken 1.5hrs. We were offered a free dessert which we declined

Cozy Corner has been serving up homemade-style meals for decades earning them incredibly strong…read moreloyalty among the community. We came out on "farmer's auction" day in Springville. For those who don't know, that would be every Wednesday during the spring-summer-fall seasons, but that's another review! It was pleasant to bump into our farmer friends in the parking lot on this drizzly morning. We ordered up our breakfasts. Hubby selected a homemade hash omelette in a wrap, with hash-browns on the side. A beautifully plated breakfast, I was not able to snap a photo before he began diving in! My special order was easily accommodated: a 3-egg cheese omelette with hash-browns and rye toast and a side of very delicious Italian sausage patty. Again, beautifully plated and crazy delicious. The breads and baked goods are homemade, which is a plus in my book! Very delectable! The service is great! Our waitress was totally cheerful, prompt and competent in taking our order and keeping our beverages full. There is a very nostalgic walk-up ice cream window. Brings up memories of my childhood, carefully reading all the flavors and selecting the most innovative and unique flavor for my cone! I found the restaurant to be very clean and welcoming. It's safe to say that Cozy Corner lives up to its name. It's clearly a diner, so no fancy frills or Murano glass pendant lights. Just lots of well spaced tables and chairs and some stools at the front counter. Of special note, the Cozy Corner has a walk-up ice cream window which made my toes tremble. Yum! We highly recommend this delightful diner!

Decent diner type options. The portions are very generous. I had a three egg american cheese omelet with onions, jalapeños, spinach, and mushrooms with Rye toast and link sausage. The sausage link serving is three links. The Rye toast was excellent, and the omelet was quite good. The omelet selections come with home fries, with or without onions. I also ordered grapefruit juice and coffee. I declined the potatoes given my desire for toast. The service was prompt and friendly. The facility has a homey feel, and it was just the right amount of busy on a weekday at 9 am. I easily found a nice table selection near a gas woodstove and enjoyed my meal. I was waiting on my dog being groomed close to the restaurant and asked if I could stay and do some work, and they were happy to accommodate me. With tip, my meal was $32.
