During the coronavirus pandemic, Pizza Hut has started offering delivery much further afield than Uber EATS, while it does cost more on the regular menu and then the expensive delivery fee of £3.49 and Uber's fees on top of that, it is one of the better Pizza Hut locations I've ordered from. My pizza seemed to have extra cheese which added moisture and wetness to make the base more edible, the gluten-free pizza base does seem to have changed to a slightly smaller rectangular shape compared to my last visit and while the base isn't fantastic, the extra cheese made all the difference to avoid a massive pile of pizza base I'd spat out in my bin. It still costs more than other stores before you even add fees etc onto that and it does work out overpriced but still probably the best pizza delivery I can get in Middleton right now, and it comes from Oldham! 3*

One waitress looked confused but the other was absolutely brilliant and said of course, if not she would personally make the chef do it :) so I ordered this with some dough balls,, when it arrived it was the perfect amount for me...*see picture So just keep in mind that if you are with a friend with a different dietary requirement just ask to split it as it is not advertised on the menu. For those that happen to be stuck in the Trafford Centre on a marathon shopping exhibition with their family or beloved however, Pizza Express offers a moment of respite. Admittedly, if there's a pause between songs on the stereo you can still hear the faint sound of thousands of people marching to the consumer drum but otherwise, Pizza Express is a great place to unwind, eat and recharge your batteries. Like the other city centres branches, the menu is extensive with a long list of meat and vegetarian pizzas with every topping you'd imagine from mozzarella, parma ham and pepperoni to capers, olives, asparagus, artichokes and courgettes. One of my favourites is the Padana - which is goats cheese, spinach and caramelised onions on a thin and crispy base. My advice? Stay here until the shops have closed and the masses have driven home. It'll make your escape / exit much more relaxed.

They have recently refurbished this location lately with the "Pizzeria" branding, I think the new look for the restaurant is so much fresher, and although the lighting could be better (It is a little dark inside), they have made this location look so much better. I would suggest booking at peak times, there aren't a lot of tables as this is a rather small branch and can get full quickly, many tables are designed to fit larger groups of at least four, and there is limited availability for smaller groups, so booking via the Pizza Express app would be a good idea to avoid disappointment. The staff here seem rather friendly, especially an Italian male (The manager?), who even began chatting to me regarding my Fantasy Football team. I ordered my usual pizza which is a GF Pollo Pancetta, it had really good flavours and was cooked well, especially the meat. Pancetta can burn and become a little chewy rather quickly, however, the meat was cooked perfectly and was a great combination for my pizza.
