However, service and venue does vary considerably. This is the first time that we ventured into Bury St. Edmunds as we were meeting a friend who worked in the area. We found the restaurant very easily, thanks to Google maps. A nice, attractive, building on the pedestrian walkway. We were early but decided to pop in as it was teaming down with rain. The welcome was a bright 'ray of sunshine' from the bleakness outside. Lovely, clean, restaurant with plenty of room between tables. I hate listening to other peoples conversations. A drink was ordered which arrived promptly and garlic bread ordered while we waited for our friend. The food that we ordered arrived quite quickly and was perfect in every way. Service was like having individual catering. Those servers were so professional but, yet, friendly. Prices are Prezzo prices and don't vary wherever. In our case we did use the Meerkats offer of two for one which, truthfully, is nothing to be sniffed at. We will certainly keep Prezzo, Bury in our minds for when we are in the area again. There are many more places in Bury St Edmunds that I would like to try before coming back to Frankie and Benny's, however I can see me coming back here one day.
