This little pizza stand is the best in Aix-en-Provence. It's affordable and it's amazingly good! This place is a great place to stop by when you're in the neighborhood and need a filler. If you're a tourist on a budget, I suggest coming here and trying it out, you wont be disappointed. The customer service is quick and pleasantly nice. The pizza and it's thin crust is so good! You can taste the locality in every bite. I ain't kidding :) During that night I ordered 2 huge slices just to fill my appetite - I think I ordered the meat-lover and frommage. (Preface: This place is on my "Two-Week List," in which I list the top twenty restaurants and bars that I'd go to if some soothsayer came up to me and told me that I only had two weeks to live. Check out the full list on my profile!) When I was studying in Aix, I was broke as a joke. I turned to Pizza Capri because the slices were less than two dollars. In FACT, I started eating anchovies at this point in my life BECAUSE that was the cheapest slice at Pizza Capri. (If I recall, one slice of anchovy pizza was one Euro and 70 centimes.) You can't sit here-- you just go up to the counter. I think that I could barely even see over the counter, because it's so tall. But when they hand you your slice (or, in my case, two slices) in that wax paper, you feel as if you've just won the lottery. I always added the chili oil to it, as well. I've never seen chili OIL at a pizza place before. (I've seen the dried flakes, but never the oil.) To this day, I have a ridiculous memory of my first bite of this pizza. It was unforgettable. After that, I came here every Saturday night, and dinner would always cost less than five Euros. Those were the days. I swear, if I were a millionaire and lived in Aix, I'd STILL come here every Saturday. And I'd still get the anchovies. read more

Believe it or not, this was the best thin sliced pizza I've had ever! Located on a side street in Aix, the pizza is warmed in an oven before being ready to eat. The first time my travel mates and I ate here, we had no expectations. We just stopped here because we were starving. Well, I didn't like this place. I ordered a pizza, so since they make the whole ones to order the told me to come back in 20 minutes. I got my chorizo pizza, plus a beer, for 12.40€. It is not the most terrible pizza I have ever eaten (that happened in Matanzas, Cuba) but it is pretty much on the bottom. J'adore Pizza Capri! This is just the best spot to get quick service and a delicious, inexpensive meal. The varieties are plenty and the flavors all intense. I always get le quatre fromage: 4 wonderful cheeses baked in a very hot oven on yummy, chewy dough with a crispy crunch on the bottom. This is so good. All of the options are good. I ate this several times a week when I was there for a month studying French. I'm 50 and had a healthy budget for gourmet meals and I could not stay away from Pizza Capri! read more
