Freshly made dough and pies are made on the thin side which is my preferred style. Cheese, sauce, and GREAT undercarriage! The crust packs a punch on the crisp side. I felt like I was back in Queens. 8.6 on my Sicilian scale... I will 100% be coming back. Ill go out of my way to come here... If there is more tang on the sauce (my personal preference) this would exceed my 9 scale.

It's still the best pizza I've had in Florida yet. The crust was thin and not soggy and the ratio of sauce to cheese was perfect. There was no pull but that was because I took it to go. Fresh out the oven, I could imagine a nice cheese pull...lol. It was easy to order over the phone and the lady behind the counter was very nice. The restaurant ia set up like an old school pizza restaurant with checkered tablecloths. I've eaten there before and the service was good. I remember a great cheese pull at that visit :)

As of now, maybe growing more, there are five trucks on 137th Ave before getting on the 836 Highway. The Chef Carlito's Food Truck was my pick to try something new while enjoying the 70 degrees today's weather was providing. The staff was helpful, they moved from Krome Ave and 151st St to this new location about three weeks ago. Offering 25 types of pizzas on their menu as well as salads, desserts and drinks (juices, milkshakes, sodas) The outside: Right by 137th Ave with about five wooden outdoor tables that can sit about 6 to 8 customers. Each table has a roll of paper towels with strand of lights under an awning. By the way each truck has one. The food was awesome. I had a nutella with strawberry and cream and also a Hawaiian 7.7 which is similar to a Hawaiian but with bacon and BBQ sauce. It was perfect. I will be back for more. After all, they have 25. Need more selections? The other trucks have Mexican food and bakery as well. Hurry!

I ordered a pepperoni slice, and "slice" hardly does it justice--it was enormous and easily enough for a satisfying lunch. For a food court, the value is excellent. The crust was thin with just the right amount of crispness, and even after taking it to go, it held up remarkably well without becoming soggy. The generous layer of pepperoni cups made for a classic New York-style slice that hit the spot. If you're looking for a quick, affordable bite at Dadeland Mall, Ben's Pizza is well worth a stop. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.
