Sitting outside in the sea breeze (read it was really windy), we were sheltered by the metal surrounded bench seating, which is probably one of the best things the pier folk have ever thought of, allowing you to sit outside and forget about the weather. The menu is simple and I quickly decided on the goats cheese and caramelised onion pizza, which I shared with the other half; it arrived in good time, with an additional plate - when placing the order, my dad was asked how many people would be sharing each pizza, a clever touch, showing that they recognise what people might want. Of course, you're going to get a few flies and wasps, but it's worth it for a little bit of something different! Just don't look down, that sea looks awful choppy.

So after half an hour waiting, we felt we should quietly leave, less we inconvenience you any further from your private conversation such as also having to take said food to our table. Don't worry, we won't trouble you again with our business. So you can freely chat away uninhibited.

The location is ideal if your in town and fancy a nice bit to eat without leaving town centre. It's a glass fronted restaurant which shouldn't put you off as it's a nice street to dine on. If you feel shy then there are plenty of tables in other parts of the large restaurant. The toilets are down some strairs which is somethign to consider if you have limited mobility or have had a glass of wine or two. I like the spicey nuts they serve as an alternative to the usual olives and the dough balls are nice with garlic butter. I usually got for a salad which is dressed in the fienst balsamic vinegar and you even get some bread slices arranged out the outskirts of your dinner plate.
